This company takes your money fast, but fills your order at a snail's pace. It's been two weeks since I placed an order, and every time I check the status, it's still "In production." I ordered a mug and had ordered the same mug previously, twice. They already have the artwork, so there's no new artwork to slow things down. The timeframe for anticipated shipping dates in the email confirmation obviously will not be met since it's still in production. Don't waste your time contacting them, because they don't respond. This will be the last time I order from this company! If they're backlogged, they need to stop accepting orders until they're caught up.

Order well in advance, because they're slow

I purchased a pair of pajama bottoms that cost $35.75, which included $7.99 shipping. Their shipping is slower than molasses. The pajamas were too big, so I returned them using their label, which cost $8.00. It took 13 days for them to receive the return, and another 8 days to issue a refund. They refunded $18.14. You do the math and decide whether you want to shop there.

Just made my first and last purchase from them. The deceptive picture made the Prada handbag look MUCH nicer than the beat-up old thing is in person. I zoomed in on the picture, and it didn't show the frayed white on the black strap where it's attached to the ring. It stands out like a sore thumb, so the picture must have been touched up. The strap isn't even leather--it's cheap naugahyde. Dummy me didn't read their return policy before buying, and it can't be returned. Lesson learned! Goodwill will be getting it.

Amazon is by far the best online shopping site around! They stand behind their products and make returns/refunds easy. Unlike a lot of other sites, they value their customers and have excellent customer service.

You can find good deals on this site, but if you ever need to return anything defective, they want you to pay the shipping. Instead of them paying the return shipping, they give you a credit, which is only good for a few months. Their customer service is very experienced at jerking you around, hoping you'll go away... and take their defective merchandise with you.

This is the first time I ordered from CafePress, and it will be my last. When an item says "In Stock," I expect it to be in stock. They sent an email that all my items had been shipped, then 2 days later sent another email that one item had not been shipped, and was "in production." I contacted Customer Service and received this brilliant reply from Khalid A.: "Thank you for contacting CafePress. I'll be happy to assist you. I checked and saw that your order is out of product and has been shipped." I don't need this frustration and will shop elsewhere.

Sears has so many holding companies and Marketplace Merchants, aka, International Merchants, that you don't know which company you're buying from. I purchased an item and they took my money immediately, but never shipped the item. The Marketplace Merchant who ended up with my order had a non-working phone number, assigned a bogus sales check number to try and make it look like the item had been shipped, then he closed his online store and I was out my money. The thief's store is Choice Avenue. Sears couldn't have been more uncooperative refunding my money. Their Customer Service is nothing more than lip service and stall tactics. I had to file a dispute with my credit card holder and cancel my credit card. I had auto payments set up on the card, so the ripple effect wasted even more of my time. I also filed a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General's Office, Consumer Fraud Bureau. There are THOUSANDS of complaints on Sears... over 12,000 filed with the BBB in the last 3 years. Think twice before ordering from Sears.com! My order turned into a 3-week nightmare trying to get my stolen money back. Sears is not the reputable company it used to be.

I purchased a vacuum on ebay, and the listing showed there were TEN available on "Buy It Now." Money was immediately taken from my account, then I heard nothing. I noticed the listing had been removed several days later, so I emailed the seller and asked what the status of my order was. He replied that the distributor didn't have the vacuums and they were discontinued. It was not the distributor's listing, and the distributor didn't take my money. An ethical company would have notified me they weren't available and refunded my money instead of playing "The Blame Game." After I asked for a refund immediately, he didn't respond. I got my refund, but will never buy from this company again.
