I booked a room through priceline.com. Or so I thought. Actually it was through Booking.com where they required my credit card information. But it is no good for payment. Hmmmm seems a little ok, a LOT, fishy to me. IDK what they are actually going to use my credit card information for, but I fear it is for other people to buy things with my money.
And this isn't even considering the fact that the price I paid through "Priceline" was the same price offered by the hotel. So, the purpose of using them? And the inability to pay for the room with my credit card, but the requirement to give the info?!?!?! My advice, call the hotel you want to use and make your reservation directly. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with your bank when your credit card is compromised

First off, the price they offered was the same damn price the hotel offered me when I called them direct. Second, they didn't even book the room. Their "sister company" Booking.com did. Thirdly, they required a credit card, which was fine since I wasn't making the trip, though I was paying for it. But, it became a SERIOUS problem when payment was required at check in. The card information I gave was no good. It was only made to "hold" the reservation. What good is that if they can't use it?!?!? I am seriously concerned about my bank account being compromised now because there seems to be no other reason for them to have my card info than to be able to have it for illegal purposes. STAY AWAY FROM PRICELINE
