I've had pretty good experiences with their hardware, but their support is second to none. I ordered a G400 mouse from them, and after a month or two one of the buttons stuck. Just one of the middle ones, not one of the big ones, so it was very much useable still.

Called up Logitech, they went through the usual "did you try different USB slots, have you installed and updated the software, etc." shpiel. Once it was made apparent that I'd done what I could to try to fix it, they asked for a picture of the bottom of the mouse and on receipt of that (a picture, not the mouse itself) sent me an entirely new mouse. They didn't ask me to go through the hassle of boxing it up and paying to send it, I didn't have to wait for them to send a box so I could send a mouse so they could send a mouse so I could eventually have a new product.

Logitech respects and trusts its customers, and that is pretty rare these days! And the replacement mouse I got had no problems at all.

Costco is a big company that manages to still do things well. Good products, good quality, good options, and sometimes you can get an amazing deal. A three-story cat-tower for $70? Yes thank you.

I have been looking for a place through craigslist and have found several "too good to be true" ads up. They always ask that you text, rather than email or responding through craigslist. It's a scam. You text them and they will text back a random link that will forward you to Roomster, probably with payment to them for the clickbait link.

Don't believe all these 5-sar reviews! Look at the people making them - 1 review each, of Roomster. Fishy, no? Some of them have a few more, also glowing review for other places. So strange. Almost like they were fake, or paid to bump up the rating of a place.

Roomster is a scam, just like those dating sites that have fake profiles send you messages that suddenly all disappear once you finally pay money. Stay away!

(edit) In response to Roomster replying - I've found multiple, as in more than a few, ads up that ask for you to text them, then reply stating they want you to register and go through a site. The link changes but it always funnels you right to Roomster. Interesting! I haven't paid because it is an obvious scam. You should stop your predatory clickbait attempts so people can find out themselves rather than trying to trick people into signing up. I am not discrediting any services Roomster gives in return for payment, I have no knowledge of that. But I do know people are attempting to trick you into signing up in exactly the same way spam/phishing emails attempt you to "verify" yourself through fake women asking you to sign up at a for-pay website "for safety."

Tip for consumers:
Stay away!

John S. – Roomster Rep

We absolutely do not post on Craigslist and have no hand in this at all. We have great reviews because Roomster is a great site and we ask our customers to leave reviews to help spread the word. This reviewer is strangely compelled to blemish Roomster's reputation while not a even a customer... hmm. Don't believe this review. Its garbage. Please know that Roomster has an A+ rating with the BBB and we have a fully staffed 24/7 support help desk.

Claims to be free but you can't do anything without paying. It is in the adultfriendfinder model, where you can search, but if you want to even view a profile, you have to pay for it. Don't bother.

Another fake/scam site. Yes, there are invasive pop-ups. I cannot confirm/deny spyware or anything of that sort, but the pop-ups are the type you find that do give spyware/ask you if you want to close the window/blah blah blah so I wouldn't be surprised!

The profiles are mostly fake, many are pictures of pornstars and adult models. Everyone near you has conveniently not been on for 44-45 days. Even if this were a real site, the profiles are obsolete or fake or some other sort of junk.

Absolutely useless website. Either it is poorly run or it is just another email grabber/fake looking for free ad revenue while it can. Avoid completely!

(edit) I also agree with the other reviewer who says the positive reviews are false, they're simply too bland and non-specific to be anything other than clickbait.

Another re-skin of adultfriendfinder. Useless as a free member, not sure about paid but I assume it is probably still filled with fake profiles just like AFF. Avoid!

  • CouplesLust.com

Another bogus, crappy site. They say you can put up pictures, view profiles, and send messages all for free, but when you sign up they will delete your pictures as "rejected" and you have to pay to put more up. You get 100 messages total, including sent and received, before you have to pay more, and you cannot view any profiles without upgrading as well.

These are the limits for single males, mind you. They say single males have "some restrictions" but they actually mean that you can't do anything except wait for other people to view you and message you. It may be better as a couple but since they're lying from the beginning, it seems better to just pass them over completely.

Avoid at all costs. If you want a similar, decent site try swinglifestyle. They have some limits for free members but at least you can put up pictures, message, search and interact freely.

A decent dating site. You can message for free, view for free, everything is actually free. The people on pof seem a little lower quality than, say, OKCupid, and the site isn't nearly as snazzy in terms of interface. But it does what it says on the tin.

  • OkCupid

This is the best dating/hookup site out there that I know about. It has lately added some ads to the top and bottom of the page, but other than that the buyout by match hasn't changed it.

All for free: you can put up dozens of pictures. You can message whoever you want as much as you want. You can rate each other and be told if you both like each other. You can look for marriage, friends, casual sex and everything in between. You can be a guy looking for a guy, a girl looking for a girl, or anywhere in between - though they don't have an option for a couple profile (yet.)

The questions are fun to answer and help you match each other. I've dated long-term and had great one-night stands from OKCupid, and you can't ask for more!
