Don't waste your time with this survey site. Mysoapbox is a survey site where the user receives points for completing surveys. These points are supposedly redeemable for rewards such as gift cards or perhaps paypal cash payments. I joined on the recommendation of a close family member. Originally, mysoapbox.com told me that I would need 10,000 points to be eligible to redeem. This seemed reasonable. It took some time (most surveys are either closed or difficult to qualify for), but I finally earned over 10,000 points. Well, when I tried to redeem the redemption page told me that I only needed another 25,000 points to be eligible to redeem! So they've upped the ante. A quick internet search shows that this site once had a 5,000 point limit for redemption. When I joined, it was 10,000 points. Apparently it is now 35,000 points. Some early members received rewards (like the person who recruited me), but it has degenerated into another internet scam. I'm sorry I wasted my time. Fortunately, a little time is all that I've lost. I fell for it; shame on me. I hope to save someone else from falling for the scam; the shame belongs on them!
Hi Lake,
We are sorry to hear about your frustration with MySoapBox. The minimum requirement for redemption from MySoapBox has always been set at 25,000 points. This has been the case since the inception of our company, so we're unsure where you heard 10,000 points was the minimum, as this is something we have never communicated. Furthermore, we do not know where you heard 35,000 points, as again, this has never been the case. We are happy to look into your case further if you contact us at our support with your registered MySoapBox email address.
