While this is a great idea, it is extremely poorly executed. I signed up for the vegan Taster box, and the first box I received contained two items that were not vegan. I emailed customer service and it took two weeks for them to reply -- and then they gave me 400 points on my account, which I feel is not really a satisfactory resolution to the problem that half of my box was not what I ordered. The second box had a bunch of useless stuff in it -- eczema skin cream (uhh... not even something they ask about when you first sign up), anti-aging cream (pretty sure they ask your age when you sign up, as part of the "tailoring" process, and I am 27), and a repeat of last month's box.
Additionally, the first box had no shipping notification (or tracking info) and I got the second box the same day as I received the "Your box is on the way" email, making it pretty useless.
I wanted to like this service... I really did. But the poor customer service and shoddy execution do not make it worth my money.
ETA: I'm pretty sure they also give out your email to related companies... I was just going through my email, and saw a couple for other subscription boxes. Legitimate companies that do this sort of thing make it clear that it is a related promotion and give you the option to unsubscribe. Not with Conscious Box... There is nothing on their website about signing up for promotional emails or what not.
