I am an Ebayholic! Only because I am a cheapskate!
Let me start by saying I don't buy high end items on this site, usually things that cost under $100cdn.
It is a great place to get cheap items but you MUST do your homework first!
Number one thing is ALWAYS look at the feedback that people have given the seller and the seller percentage rating is a big clue to know if you should move to a next seller or not!
I would avoid seller that have feedback score under 98.5%
I have bought items that I won for a price that was to good to be true and when I did receive the item, the saying stood true: Cheap is good, good ain't cheap!
On the other hand though, I have gotten items that I was extremely happy with that did save me 50% plus compared to retail price.
A lot of products come from China & Hong Kong, therefore there are times that you could be waiting for a good whole month before you get your item(s).
Never had a problem with EBay but please remember what I said in the beginning, I usually buy cheap stuff under $100cdn.
There has been incidents were I would not receive the item from the merchant and with good communication btw the seller and I, I would either get the item recent(the cheaper items under $10) or a full refund.
Extremely odd times when even after the seller refunds me, my item would mysteriously appear like a month later(must of got lost within the postal service). BONUS!
Once again, to have a good experience with EBay, Do your homework, research the item and seller. Always read the description of the item you would be purchasing and not just the title of it!
Happy Bidding!
