They provide good value for money and decent deals, and a really convoluted reward system that makes you come back. Kohls is addictive. Good human (finally) customer service on the phone, although the chat server wouldn't connect. This software gives me headaches.

The site has been having various usability and technical problems throughout the years. I order merchandise to be picked up in stores. Sometimes, it tells me an item is available in a store, but then when paying, I get an error that it's not. And it's still shown as available. Sometimes, after completing a purchase for an item in a store, I get an email "sold out". You would think that if an item is sold out, you can offer the next option - ship to the store. Wrong! The software doesn't care and you can't modify the order. And ion top of it, it messes up your rewards.

Shopping for Groupon Goods.
1. Upon completing a purchase, every time I get a message "sorry, something went wrong". It's very confusing as the order actually went through, the status is "processing" and it gets shipped after a while.
2. There is no link to edit or cancel order while in process. Then it gets approved at 1 am and they give 2 hours to edit/cancel. Really?
3. Discount code didn't work with no error message and no discount applied.
4. Order details fail to include product specifics from drop down menus. No wonder they sent me wrong size.
5. Fine print says "free returns" but when clicking on "return" I get a message that it's not eligible for returns.
6. Customer service contacts are excruciatingly hard to find on the site.
7. The form to describe a problem to customer support allows to send only a Twitter size message. What's the purpose of this feature?
8. Customer support looks like really bad AI (or outsource?) which isn't able to comprehend what you're saying and shoves random messages at you.

Shop elsewhere, I've seen exactly the same deals on LivingSocial. And most deals are not really deals but regular prices.

I don't know how they got my address, but I first started getting emails, to sign petitions. I didn't mind because I sign petitions on other sites. Today I opened one email (I didn't click on anything) and then after awhile got an email "thank you for signing a petition". I didn't sign anything! I removed myself from their mailing list, not sure they are not going to use my info anymore to sign their petitions.

Since I put my comment (when I just started visiting), I'm really disappointed with this site and its blog. Articles about animals, foods etc are good and educating. I'm really disappointed with the Human Rights section. The majority is reblogging from other sources, but even as reblogging it often doesn't come right. Facts not verified (to a degree of nonesense), adding something that's not there, omitting information, sometimes the impression is that the author didn't even read the article they reblog and just made up something different, mulling the same stories over and over. My biggest complaint is it seems that the bloggers absolutely need to follow some "party line", when selecting subjects and then twisting the information to the degree of "witch hunt", even making unfounded accusations. It's not just boring, it's adverse and anti-Human Rights. It's not a bad site overall, but I wouldn't give it more then 1 star for this reason.

Conditions are all over, not consolidated in one place and it feels deceitful. My offer was a gift certificate with an Old Navy purchase. I planned to go to Canada to see family and wanted to shop there. Before registering a card, I read everything on the site how the purchase worked and all the conditions applied. It didn't say I couldn't shop in Canada, just go to any Old Navy store. So, I registered a card. A couple of weeks after the purchase I was back in the US and wondering why I wasn't getting the gift card. I checked FAQ on the web site, the section why the transaction didn't work. It reiterated the same conditions I'd already read many times... Then it mentioned the email I received after registering the card. I found the email, it reiterated again the conditions... Then in the end, there was a link to "other conditions". I click on it, voila, here it says I can only shop in the US... Why wasn't it possible to provide this info BEFORE registering the credit card? I could've decided not to go for this offer or not to shop in Canada.

I just realized how dangerous, not just buggy, this site is, seeing today a case of a lynch mob victory. You can easily fire somebody from a job and destroy their life based on pure allegations you put on change.org, anonymously, just because media are going to spread it. What kind of "social change" is that? I wish there were negative stars here.

I also always google the case before signing any petitions. A number of times important facts in petitions on change.org are distorted or omitted. Anybody can post anything, manipulate people to sign, and manipulate media to spread rumors, no facts are verified. Those whose petitions are valid and scream for help don't benefit from it at all. The site should be renamed into "libel.org" or "lynchyourenemy.org".
