This site advertises a lot thru the Clipper-titled "Coupon Magazines" it mails to all households in the area. It has become a fraud. I have had three instances in recent weeks where a business went broke or shut down while a certificate I purchased was still valid. They have a way to report this and request a refund, but they simply refuse to reply to your request. The site says it will take just a few days, but they intentionally ignore you. I should have learned the first time, which is still an open issue months after I requested a refund, but I didn't learn. Don't you be fooled as I was. Next step: try to get action from the Illinois Attorney General's fraud group. I don't expect that will bother them much, though.

After fixing an earlier problem with not working with the most common browsers, this site now won't open the links to its own "Coupons" (as opposed to the "Deals" section that works like Groupon). They confirmed this to me on in March 2016 as a known problem and it persists weeks later.

Wal-Mart's website is unexciting but it gets the job done. Prices can be competitive but the shipping policy cannot match Amazon. What creeps me out a bit though, is that after you look at an item on the website you often get an email from them a day or so later, saying, essentally, "why didn't you buy this?" I find that kind of tracking to be unacceptable.

This site has remained almost a scamy. I have been a member for years, and lately any desirable places may be listed, but are always "out of stock" even on the first day of each month. They have lost credits on my account, they revised the customer account area and deleted some certificates I had that had been disavowed by the restaurant. Certificates are nothing more than discount coupons you have to buy. Common is a "$50 gift certificate" for a local sushi place that requires a $100 minimum purchase. That same place offers similar deals on their own for no charge - i. E. just a big discount for large purchases if you agree to tip 20%. Why pay the fee for such a "coupon"? Now, their Customer Service refuses to reply (twice) to a request to consolidate smaller certificate ("Gift Cards", specifically) into large ones that might actually be useful. SO STAY AWAY!

Tip for consumers:
Many of the places are business that offer similar deals on their own, so be cautious when getting an offer.
