There are too many sellers who just do not care about customer service. I rarely order but some vendors do not have web stores so I have to order through Aliexpress.

Buying is like gambling sometimes you will get amazing items all perfect first time around and then reorder and receive junk and seller telling you they will not refund of course we can bypass the seller but the wait time is horrible. Also some will not send at all or short your order.

If you are not in a hurry and don't mind having your money tied up then the site does have bargains.

I first found etsy when I went looking for supplies. I loved what was being offered such as charms, fimo, prints. Some shops were out of my price range but many were just right for my budget.

I am now a seller on etsy and direct many buyers to various shops I would have to say my favorite category is vintage collectibles as it just brings up happy memories.

I love the site... Great place to chat with buyers and sellers around the world. The site is only a year old so they still have kinks to work out... but I will keep TopHatter in my favorites.
