If quibid shows an item, let's say a ipad sold for 26,50, you think its a wonderful price. It means 2650 bids on the item multiplied by 0,60cents (the price per bid) and in the end the ipad was sold for 1590$, just 3X the retail price.
I have nothing against auction sites. Neither nothing against the bids that you have to pay even if you don't win the item, it's basically just like gambling.
WHAT I HAVE AGAINST QUIBIDS
1) Should not have the right to use the ''1 cent'' terms for each bid if it's worth 60¢
2) The price of won auctions displayed in the adds should say 'sold for 2295 BIDS' or 22,95 QUIBID $ with a ** mentionning each bid costs 60¢, not 22,95$, which is false and confuses people.
3)Boosting items using bots should be punished.
If the site displayed everything as it should, not use a conversion of money and use the same value after converting, which is the problem here, than they would still do money (a lot less of course) with smaller and less researched items. Dividing the reel price by 60 is not what I can call very legit.
