I had used Priceline for a trip to DC earlier in the year and the experience was fine. Then, when booking a trip to Austin, I was asked to download their app to receive the discount. When I did--no discount. When I called to either get the discount or make other arrangements, I was told that I could not cancel and because I didn't have a screen shot of the discount offer, they couldn't grant that either. Never again. William Shatner... what are you thinking endorsing this horrible company?

Next Door is truly a waste of precious time. The concept may have some interesting features, but the site simply promotes nosiness--more than safety... pointless squabbling and finger-pointing more than open communication. It's created a forum for adults to behave badly under the heading of 'good for the neighborhood'. Without more effective guidelines in place for facilitation, Next Door should not be an option for ANY neighborhood or HOA.
