I dual-booted 7 with Ubuntu, and it worked fine for a while. Then it suddenly broke my computer like, beyond repair and I didn't have any recovery CD's.
But, the great support there spent 2 hours with me working on some stuff that fixed my computer :D
They have EPIC customer support.
If you want any computer, choose Acer. Their computers are greatly priced and really nice. I currently use an Acer laptop and love it. If you want an affordable, high quality laptop, get it at Acer. Not like dumb Alienware that's like super overly priced.
i was thinking toshiba or lenovo for my next laptop purchase. what do you think?
Apple > Lenovo > Toshiba
I think you should get Apple.
I always prefer metal body notebooks,
and with the MacBook Pro being made of a solid chunk of aluminum you got one solid computer.
The game is great, but I highly suggest not buying it. Their Customer Support, or should I say, anti-Customer Support, will not try in any way to help you with anything. And I had Blockland for months when an administrator scammed me by deleting my identification key because I posted of video of me on Minecraft. Then when I emailed them to ask for it to be reactivated, they called me a douch-bag.
is blockland like minecraft?
Blockland is a little more highquality than Blockland, but there is less to do (Minecraft has a higher addicting quality). In Blockland, you build with blocks (like Legos). But there are no physics like in ROBLOX. If you destroy the side of a tower, the tower would just float. It wouldn't fall over. It's not a bad game, it's just they seem to have 12 year-olds running the site.
Blockland is a little more highquality than Minecraft, *
so maybe they felt like you were promoting a rival game Minecraft? they don't want people paying $10 to play a better game.
Blockland was $20, and there was no warning or violation of any rule on the forums. And the very fact that it was on the forums, would mean that even if I violated the forum's ToS, then I could get banned on the forums. But it's not legal to terminate my account for an outside reason. It's considered a "scam".
that's true. can you go to your credit card company with that? or did you pay through paypal? i heard it's more effective to refer to these things NOT as virtual goods.
