Amazon are excellent for returns and refunds, one of the best company's I have ever dealt with for this.
Buy from Amazon itself not sellers using Amazon to sell through.
You can get some great bargains at much lower prices on Amazon, but as on any site occasionally you can get the items cheaper elsewhere.
Free super saver delivery is great if you are not in a rush. My super saver items always come in good time as long as they are in stock so no problems there.
Occasionally the items take longer as they are not in stock, when you go to order just keep an eye on the time scales it gives you for delivery, it a good indication of how long you will wait. need it faster? go to the high street and buy it.
4 stars not 5 as I have had occasion were I have waited 5 weeks for a dvd ( around Xmas time when they are very busy ) .. but when i emailed complaining it suddenly arrived a few days later...
Amazon customer services are good, so maybe the odd nudge to them is worth while ;-)
All in all I love Amazon... one of my first choices for buying online!
My advice is that you never order a Sharp product through Sharp itself. order through Amazon or another retailer. Sharp are awful for refunds and returns. they will find any excuse not to refund, then when they have to accept its needed they will try to find excuses for you to pay the return postage yourself. Customer service staff fabricated stories to make my sister think her faulty electronic item was in fact 'meant to be that way' ..... totally untrue and we proved it with pictures and technical advice from another company selling this Sharp item! 2 weeks after item returned still no refund. These company's that like to keep your hard earned money in their bank longer than necessary need shooting.
Chronic customer service. Re train your customer service staff not to lie Sharp.
SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE! never had such a bad customer service experience in my life. So many phone calls, countless emails, all ignored or brushed off with one line answers, emails sent to me from them intended for other customers with their customer details in the emails! staff that didn't seem to know what they were talking about. False promises. All to get a refund of over £100 for a faulty/damaged product. The other company that was selling through Groupon agreed to the refund immediately but Groupon still wouldn't refund, no replies to my countless messages. 5 weeks later still no explanation as to no refund, even the other company who sold the items where baffled. In the end the other company had to refund me as Groupon customer service failed to even reply or refund. DO NOT USE GROUPON UNLESS YOU ARE READY NOT TO GET A REFUND.

I have to add that this is my experience with Groupon.co.uk The United kingdom Groupon not USA. perhaps the USA side of Groupon appreciates their customers more!
