I used a coupon for 10% off, and it showed a change in price and added the discount to my order. When I checked out it removed the coupon and charged the full price. I called customer service and they talked to their manager. They said they couldn't do anything about it and they would talk to their technician when they came in to work the next day to fix it. It was not fixed, and why would a tech be needed to handle customer service and resolution? Be careful with this company and hope you do not need to contact customer service for anything.

  • iHerb

I have placed many orders through iHerb over the past few years, and they always have good prices on their products with very fast free shipping (available with $20+ orders). Their selection is good, although not perfect (but who has EVERYTHING you are looking for?) it is the best I have found. I like that I can rely on great value with the products that I get from them and it is shipped very quickly and packaged well every time.

A lot of good deals available, but I am always careful to read reviews of the product listing, reseller, and external information about both. This way my expectations are met every time so I rarely if ever have to mess with returns or customer service. Shop smart and you will have a good experience! Don't buy something just because it has the lowest price or claims to be the best.

Less expensive than cable, no excruciating advertisements, watch when you want. I wish they had a greater selection of items to stream, but for the price it is a good service that gives a good video quality based off of the quality of your internet connection. Volume is often on the low end, so you will probably need to turn your volume up higher than with some other video sources, but that is easy enough to do.

  • Costco

Costco seems to do a great job of offering among the best prices you can find on mid to high quality products. Not the low quality junk you will frequently find at bargain stores like the notorious Walmart and others (might as well just throw your money away). This applies to their food products, household goods, linens, electronics, hardware, services, etc. Plus they stand behind their products, and if you aren't happy with them for whatever reason they will accept a return hassle free. No receipt needed, full packaging isn't required, and sometimes they will do a refund or exchange years later. Chances are you won't need to return a product, but it is nice to know that you can just in case. A top notch store, maybe even the best of its kind.

And the annual membership fee is well worth it! For a very low income family like mine we aren't wasting money on disposable garbage merchandise that costs more in the long run. So it is a smarter place to shop for everyone.

Poor to average quality products at a decent price. Good customer service. Not bad for kids clothes since they have an alright selection and are just going to be grown out of within a year anyhow. Not a bad place to get disposable items when it makes sense. Not always the best prices, but generally they are fair or better.

Great prices on some school supplies at the start of the school year. Other than that they carry average quality products for average to above average prices. Their electronics selection is ok, they carry the basics of low-end to mid range items. They have lots of printer inks/toners to get in a pinch, but the prices are a bit high. Good customer service. Don't waste your time with their computer services though, they are a ripoff (as almost every place is). If you have the internet it is easy enough to figure it out on your own.

  • Home Depot

They have a nice large selection of standard quality construction and household materials and pretty good lumber. Even some of their generic items are pretty good. They also have some higher quality stuff available. The prices are usually not too bad either. Customer service is good, always someone available to help. Returns are quick and painless.

  • Apple

3/30/16

Apple products are way over priced and the least compatible of any major electronics device. Their proprietary philosophy is just a way for them to be greedy and not a means of innovation or progress. In fact it discourages innovation and cooperation.

  • Old Navy

3/30/16

Their clothing is of some of the lowest quality construction and materials that I have seen. To top it off they charge as much as or more than many of the manufactures do for wearables with good construction and materials.

  • Walmart

3/30/16

Low quality items that you will just have to replace costing more in the long run. You get little value for your time. Good news is they accept most returns as long as you have the receipt. I would rather pay a little bit more for a better product that will last longer while supporting a local company, have better quality controls, and suppliers that treat their employees well.

  • Target

Most of their stuff is of low quality at a high price.
