Fist of all, they hype the site and you get unrealistic idea of what the item looks like on real people. Secondly, they have hidden return policy (Read to see final sale policy if you don't want to see the wicked side of fashion nova).

I thought I was lucky to find a site as stylish as this until I spent about $750 shopping from this site. I was given a gift card for items that were out of stock meanwhile they were available when and after I purchased them (site credit gift card who does that?) shouldn't that warrant an automatic refund to my original form of payment? After all I never asked them not to update their system if an item is unavailable. I went back to look up the same item and it says 13 pieces available so why in the world was I given a site credit minus $7 I paid for shipping.

When the items came in, I paid about $13 in shipping and returning 4 items worth almost $100 guess what I received as site credit? Fashion nova issued me $12.89 for items I paid $98 for, they said the items were final sale when there was no mention of it in the description. According to them all items ending with. 97,. 96, or. 98 are considered final sale. I asked that my items be returned to me and they said NO! How are we suppose to know this if the description did not indicate "final sale"? They receive these items new with tags never worn and resell them for the actual price...

One of the dresses I purchased tore when I was trying to take it off ($34.99 down the drain), could not return because I was being honest since I already wore it, I simply tossed it in the bin. I hardly wash and re-wear clothes so I'm not sure what the quality of these items would look like after one wash.

Please read the reviews on here they are true either good or bad (if I hadn't had to return an item I would have thought Fashion Nova is my go-to store or if I hadn't been issued site credit unjustly especially for an item that I purchased but later not in stock during shipping, I wouldn't have known how terrible this website is).

I should have read and listened before spending my money on this site.

They issue you site credit or no refund at all.

Customer service is ZERO! You can't reach them via phone, send emails and they select who to respond to.

  • Tradesy

This is a reply to one or more of the reviewers below.

That's incorrect sorry! The reviewer could not find the item or the seller because Tradesy banned or suspended the user from their site. When a user is banned you can no longer find them on the site. Most buyers do not know what to look for when purchasing a brand item like Louis Vuitton and once they receive the package all they say it's "yay it's a fake" some buyers make it difficult to work with because they read blogs asking them to ask sellers when an item was purchased or how long the seller has had the (let's say) LV bag; thus, setting up a platform for lies. Back to the reason for the review...

Tradesy is very hard on sellers who make the mistake of selling a fake item, they don't want to know for how long you've been with them, they will ban you and hand you over! They are actually the best online site I've seen if you know how and where to make purchases from.
That's why it's important to purchase from Tradesy themselves were they resell returned items that has been authenticated by them (Tradesy closets like Penny Lane, Abbey R) or purchase from sellers that has proof or paperwork of authenticity (for instance, Diamondz or J'adore luxury provides proof of authenticity on all her items, he/she sends a copy with your package, and you are free to ask them again for authentication at anytime after you misplace your copy), that way you know what you are getting upfront because no matter how hard Tradesy is on sellers, there are still bad people everywhere and we as buyers need to be weary about that by trying to protect ourselves.

I once felt cheated when I was issued a site credit for an item I felt was a fake but after studying and researching that particular brand I knew I was wrong and I simply used my site credit to purchase from Diamondz and I was happy at the end.

Sorry, I don't know any of these people, this is just a review of my experience and not affiliated to anyone or user.

  • Amazon

4/2/15

I have been a member for five years and not one bad experience. I have also shopped from private sellers on Amazon and it's been wonderful. All my books, electronics, and other valuables come from Amazon. Shipping is super fast, returns are easy, and to crown it all; I purchase items on other sites only after coming to Amazon to read the item's review.
I won't be comparing amazon to other sites even though am an ardent Ebay shopper. Amazon, is less stress, less hassle, and the best online site. Wish their fees aren't too high on sellers though.

  • Apple

The five star isn't because it's Apple, but because you have to give them a try before believing any negative review or comment about them.
I had a problem with my iPhone 6 plus, purchased for full price and insurance without contract via AT&T, I thought the phone was having problems because the camera isn't the same or as good as the iPhone5 I began with in taking photos of certain colors (for instance, try using the iPhone 5 and 6 to take photos of a Louis Vuitton item and you will see the difference). I took it in and had the representatives look at the phone. They told me it was normal but with little discussion, they decided to give me another phone just to make me see that it is normal for the iPhone6+ to have such camera effect.
After paying about 995 with about 6$ or so every month to insure the phone, I wanted to make sure my phone isn't defective.
I love the product and they won my business. So many people love the camera on the iPhone 6+ but not me.

I don't know why people think about using this site... I am a seller and a buyer so you should believe me when I tell you this is the wrong place to do business or bring business to. Keep you money or try other sites.
Buyers will be rude to you and leave harsh comments on your items, you won't blame these buyers they are also scared of being played. Buyers will offer 200 for an item of 1200, what happens to the 1000? If you end up accepting the offer the payment will not go trough. They will call you all sort of names if you try to work things out with them.

Sellers on the other hand, will look for the easiest way to rip you off your hard earned money. I have heard weird stories and I am actually scared of selling here because this scenario has also happened to honest sellers and buyers on the site.

Some will sell an item to you and ship an entirely different item. Contact Poshmark and you wil be asked to send photos, send photos to them, and the seller will take your page name all over the place calling you a scam artist. Who is scamming who? Same applies to some buyers.

Use at your own discretion. I was thought to never say a word if I will end up saying something negative about it..., I can't seem to help see you fall a prey of these negativity and drama on Posh.

You may be among the lucky ones, I thought I once was not until now.

This is a honest review from a buyer and a seller. Save yourself and RUN!
