Received Baggershield windscreen and found item to be defective. The holes aligning the top and bottom shield are mis-drilled about 1/2 inch making product useless. Returned for refund with not stating what the problem is. 3 weeks later I receive the EXACT same Baggershield back with letter stating it's not returnable as it appears to have been opened and mounted (how else can I determine it to be defective?). Guess they could not be bothered reading my reason for return comment. Called immediately after waiting was told someone will call me back. Like that's likely to happen. Guess next step is to contact credit card company and dispute the charge.
Been using Leather Up for years... after this experience will seriously consider spending my money elsewhere.
Update 3/4/15: Spoke with manfacturer rep who clarified installation process. Did as mfg suggested and the shield fit. Thank you Slipstreamer! Leatherup customer service did call me later in the day, Was advised of instruction clarification and complaint was dismissed. I never inquired as to if they decided to accept my return.
