I cannot get through to Truelocal via telephone or email, so I am trying this avenue...

All attempts to get Truelocal to action my requests have failed. Truelocal, please attend urgently. I also attempted to call you 1800 029 010 number@ 11:31am 26. 3. 19 but only got a recorded message asking me to leave my contact number (which I did and have not received a response).

UPDATE: Received a phone call from S... D... TrueLocal Acccounts receivable 12:29pm 27. 3. 10 (02 9228 7011) who advised she could not/would not help me in any way, she was very sorry, and I had to continue putting my requests in writing only (and that they were "busy" but would get back to me as they were a great team).

I just want to be removed from Truelocal algother... no profile/no reviews.

Unable to obtain REFUND when item/s never received due to "LOST IN TRANSIT" when seller omitted street number and street name from the address. Seller tried to "negotiate" non existent terms and "dispute" the refund process even when it was proven that there was nothing to "dispute".

Considerable Language Barriers (seller China). Seller provided inaccurate information on several occasions and would take no responsibility for their error/s.

No telephone contact for seller available. The number provided does not work from Australia. Emails unsuccessful on all occasions due to "merry go round" of errors/miscommunications/blame/unprofessionalism.

Online chat disconnected during conversation and then diverted to email only assistance.

Policies and practices not effective/unable to facilitate professional and successful transactions/communication. Terms seemed fully negotiable from sellers point of view.

Seller incorrectly addressed items (seller left off street address). (Free shipping.).
Items never received/items returned to seller by post office (?) (seller acknowledged both points).

Online website depict attractive photos, like Rosewhole.com, and appears to be similar in operation.

Prices range medium to high. All prices appear in USD for majority of communications (AUD not available on all screens without effort).

Unable to UNSUBSCRIBE from emails error message appears.

I cannot comment on quality of clothing because I never got my order due to the seller omitting the street name and street number in my address (although seller vehemently and incorrectly denies this, even after providing me with written proof of where/how they addressed incorrectly).

I have tried to order several things on overstock.com in Australia. I order things from overseas all the time i. E. Aliexpress and Cafepress and get free shipping on everything (it can take a couple of months but I would rather wait then be excessively charged/or at least have the option). Unfortunately, the delivery fee/s have been massive and I have not made purchase yet. I tried to order a kitchen runner mat but item was 125.38 and delivery 117.07 (nearly same price as item). I thought, hey, maybe as it is bigger that's why. However, when ordering small items (like a small ring), the mail fees were also very high and unreasonable. I wish there was a fairer delivery fee system for Australians. Has anyone else worked out a way around this in Australia? Or should I just give up and avoid this site altogether?
Also - overstock don't deliver to Australia (contrary to their declaration that they do). You get transferred to BONGO (without your OK first), an international partner. You are then in the BONGO blames OVERSTOCK dilemma if there are any probs i. E. oh you need to contact Bongo, and then Bongo advises... you need to contact overstock. You cannot get a hold of either bongo or overstock from Australia - via any means.

This site is equivalent to the pain and suffering you experience when dealing with Indian/Philipino telephone operators i. E. yes mam, I understand, that's no good, can you give me your details, can you repeat that (again and again!), I sincerely apologise, we will work this out, are you sure?, I will have to check with my supervisor, oh, no mam... you should have it by now, you need to check your mail box... aaagghghghghh!

Poor sizing, poor material/quality, no contact with company, slow postage, photos don't match item

Also - when someone, if they ever do, finally gets back to you - they are patronising and keep giving you more hoops to jump through i. E. be patient, please be understanding, requests more info i. E. order numbers, personal info and so on (even though you have provided over and over again), they keep you going around in circles "we will work something out" - yet nothing ever happens and you get so worn down you just give up and cut your losses.
