WeddingWire takes the legitimacy of our reviews very seriously. In order to write a review, the client needs to be able to show proof of payment or a signed contract in order to verify the legitimacy of the review. Having said this, WeddingWire is not a dispute resolution service. As long as a reviewer can prove that he/she was a legitimate client (and the review abides by our Terms of Use), WeddingWire does not get into the content of the review. All reviews that abide by our TOU are allowed: positive, negative, or neutral.
If you received a review from someone whom you do not believe was a legitimate client, you are able to dispute that review from within your account. If you email support@weddingwire.com we can also dispute the review on your behalf.
