“My renter didn't pay rent and robbed my house!”

- 0 -0- - 0 And roommates.com won't give me the info on the person who "really" rented a room from me? He robbed my house and stole electronics from other roommates! I am Lived!

That’s terrible! I’m sorry that happened to you. It is always a good idea to get a background check when you have a new person move in.

You may want to contact your local authorities as well as report them to the Internet Crime Complaint Center. You can do this by visiting their website at www.ic3.gov. We will be happy to assist the authorities in any way we can.

Roommates.com respects the privacy of its users, so we do require a Court Order before releasing any information about our members. The Arizona contact for obtaining a Court Order is 1-800-352-4553. Once a Court Order is obtained, it may be faxed to us at 1-888-629-8013 for review.
