In general, UNITED has delivered consistent above average service until a recent experience (early April 2018) using the airlines for a company business trip:

1) TSA precheck. I had no issues, but my co-worker with identical TSA precheck demographics -- we both gave KTN to our company travel service - could not get precheck. We had both paid for it months ago. He was told at terminal by UNITED staff that they could see his KTN, but he was "not selected" to receive precheck -- even though it was a prepaid service! So, be warned of inconsistencies! I'm always paranoid of electronic glitches so I actually went on the web site days in advance to verify my precheck status and found initially it was NOT linked to my ticket until I attached my frequent traveler # -- which was provided to travel agent in advance.

2) DELAY in connection - failure to communicate. I arrived at gate thinking I had 20 mins before boarding... NO overhead announcement... NO change in boarding or take-off time posted at gate... NO web site announcement on my UNITED app... NO email push notification. End result: boarding 30 mins late, Take off 1 hr late. Arriving plane for my flight was late -- overhead staff talking. TOO BAD staff knew & passengers did not. The hour delay resulted in loss of chance to register & participate in work activities later that evening (only 10 min ride to hotel, so I would have had 45-50 mins if on time).

Lessons: be very compulsive about TSA precheck if you fly this airlines, or they might randomly choose not to give you the service you had PAID for in advance. Be pro-active about inquiring about delays because you might get NO notification whatsover - email, text, overhead, or gate!

Very sad. I used to be a member of this site off & on but now, STAY AWAY!

I see that is used for verification for dating sites sometimes - that is the lure, as well as meeting people. I have met people on it in the past with fun results although it wasn't easy.

Now the problem is the membership enrollment. It's supposed to be simple. They have choices laid out with accurate breakdowns on costs.

So I asked for a simple 1 month membership ($25) + 1 month of extra benefit to allow non-subscribers to write ($20). I clicked the correct buttons issued but there seemed to be a delay. I got another screen with all of the extras listed. I clicked the same choice as before ($20 option) and continue. It gave me the same screen again but this time, no continue. So I simply clicked the no, thanks button to get out, thinking if there is an error, at least I won't get charged. Instead I get slapped with a $60 3 month membership charge from a different site (something hookup instead of the discreet name they promised to bill under)!

I immediately called customer service. Took 10 minutes, then I got thru. They verified me and after explaining what happened, they apologized and said all they could do was give me the 1 month membership billed at a higher rate of $29.99!

Needless to say, I told them to cancel the whole order.

So... if you want to have a more costly order charged instead of what you want... and don't mind being charged even more if you ask for a correction, choose AFF.

Great site for finding reservations although it has some major drawbacks: eateries listed are fairly limited; timing of cancellations very different from reservations - you can make one within 30 mins of time you want, but cancelling is 24 hrs in advance. Otherwise, site works great. Also, most restaurant week places are listed on here.

Relatively easy to use and navigate. Not perfect but I gave it 5 stars because I found it by chance looking for a discount lodging site. Within an hour, I was able to get a bid on a place to stay that was 1/2 the price of a local motel 6 and looked twice as nice. Since then, I've used it 4 times, all with positive experiences even when I had to cancel. Highly recommended so long as you choose the right location & communicate with landlord in advance. Will definitely use again if on tight budget or looking for a personal touch like a B & B without need for a breakfast.

Tip for consumers:
Look for several places. Choose quickly & place your bid. Be specific with host about your timing and special lodging needs - many will accommodate.

Been on the site for over a year now. Like any dating site, it depends on your attitude toward daring and how you treat whom you meet as well as how you present yourself. Overall positive: have met women whom I would never want to meet again and those I would pay 10x to meet again. Site is not a scam at all. Sorry for all the other guys who don't get it! I've met over 30 women. Took me all this time to figure out the type of woman I really wanna meet - guess I'm a slow learner! What I've learned would take a book to write. Hmm... When used right, met women faster on this site than any other site I've ever used. That's main reason I gave 5 stars. Time is money. Time is something you can't get a refund on.

Basic tips:
1) know the type of relationship you want. Traditional sb/sd, non-traditional, mistress, fwb, etc. Women appreciate a man who knows what he wants & is honest about it.
2) know your budget.
3) women want to know you'r serious. Real bids are 100-200.

Tip for consumers:
Don't actually unlock an offer unless you really want to meet her.
Reply & respond to messages in 1-3 days to keep interest alive.
Ask me nicely & I'll tell specific tips for each stage of use on the system - too much detail to go into here.
