I was so excited when I saw this website and the prices and I admit it did feel a little too good to be true. I placed an order on May 7th for 5 really cute items. I bathing suit, some shirts and a dress. I was even happier to see that they advertised that items ship in 24 hours. After creating my account and placing my order I immediately received emails thanking me for my order and welcoming me to SammyDress. I have been checking the status of my order for a few days before I decided to inquire as to where my order was in the process. The status of my order had been showing processing for a few days. I received a response back from someone within 24 hours that said that they ship orders 2-5 days after they are placed and asked me to patiently wait. I waited another 3-4 days and then started a chat on their website. They tell you that it is for presale questions only so I started out as if I wanted to place an order but had a question about shipping. Chat below:

Dee: Hi, I would like to know about your shipping time frames, once an order has been placed.

Elliott: Total Delivery Time = Processing Time + Packaging Time + Shipping Time.

Elliott: We generally require between 2-7 business days to arrange shipment of orders.

Dee: Ok. So if I place an order with flat rate shipping. It will take 2-7 days to package the order and then another 7-25 days before I receive it?

Dee: Wow! That is extremely long. Why is it so slow? Most companies can ship out and order in just 24 hours! I saw that on this website too. Seems like false advertisement...

Dee: So processing time is 24 hours. Not shipping time? I'm confused, the website says the item ships in 24 hours. You just said that the order takes 2-7 business days to process but then also said that processing time is 24 hours.

Elliott: for items mark "ship in 24 hours", the processing time is 24 hours, other items will need 2-7 business days to process

Dee: Ok. Thanks. I have an order that I placed and it just seems to be taking so long. I wanted clarification on shipping times. Since it was placed on 5/7/14 I will give it the 2-7 business days to ship out before I cancel and give a rating on this website. Friday was my 7th business day counting from 5/8/14. I will look for my shipping confirmation tomorrow.

Dee: Sure. It is MB... it has been in the Processing phase since I placed it on 5/7/14.

Dee: None of my items were out of stock when I placed the order

Elliott: for they are in high demand. The items we get back are not enough to offer to our customers, but we try to get more back.

Dee: They were all in stock and I did not receive any communication from Sammy dress the anything was on back order

Elliott: sorry, the stock is changing all the time

Elliott: we need time to update the information

Dee: I actually just clicked on each item while I was waiting for your reply and see that only one item is now showing out of stock.

Dee: I was looking for the ship in 24 hours on the items that I ordered.

Elliott: but they are out of stock, we need to get them from out factory

Dee: Ok how long does that take and will you expedite my shipping for both the inconvenience of not notifying me and also the longer wait time for the items having to be obtained from the factory?

Dee: I am thinking to cancel my order and tell my friends to do so as well. This is unprofessional and unorganized.

Dee: I was referring friends, but that now, seems like a bad idea.

Dee: Why don't they show out of stock? Why are people allowed to keep placing an order for something that they can't get? That does not seem right.

Elliott: sorry for that happened, we have the items in our factory, we just need time to get from our factory

Dee: And how can one item show out of stock but nothing else? All of my items showed that they were in stock when I placed my order.

Dee: Ok, so how long does that take and will you expedite my shipping for both the inconvenience of not notifying me and also the longer wait time for the items having to be obtained from the factory?

Elliott: they will be in stock on May 25 or so, we can give you a discount code as compensation for the delay

Elliott: Our system should have sent email for you before, if you don't get the email, it should be the system has problems when send automatically

Dee: So you are not going to expedite my shipping, then it will be a month before I get my items? Unprofessional. A discount code to order more out of stock items that will take a over a month to receive? No that's ok. How do I cancel my order?

Dee: I did not receive any emails about items being out of stock, as I mentioned before. The website showed that my items were in stock at the time I placed the order. Today 8 business days after I placed my order only 1 item says it is out of stock. So how was I supposed to know that my items were out of stock?

Elliott: it will be in stock on May 25 or so, could you wait for a few more days?

Dee: By the time I receive my order it will be over a month since I placed it. I will wait until May 25 only if my order will be expedited in shipping. Only until May 25th. Not a few days later than that.

Dee: If my shipping cannot be expedited on May 25th then no I cannot wait. SammyDress did not have to wait to take my payment/money. I was not notified about any issue with my order.

Elliott: sorry, Flat Rate Shipping: Between 7-25 business days to ship to the destination.

Elliott: if you want to change the method, you may need to pay more

Dee: Ok, sorry. I will cancel the order then. Customer service is always the key. I will tell my friends not to order a thing from your website either.

Elliott: sorry for that happened, we will canceled for you

Dee: There was already one customer service fail when I was not notified of problems with my order. Now instead of you expediting my order for the inconvenience you ask that I wait another week for items to be in stock?

Elliott: you will receive your money in 3-7 working days

Dee: Customer service is always the key to keeping customers. I will be sure to tell everyone on Facebook and all of my friends of my experience with SammyDress. I was really looking forward to receiving my order and to ordering more items in the future.

Dee: I will check for my refund and cancelled order and keep this chat to send to my bank as proof of my request to cancel just in case there are any other issues that SammyDress doesn't notify my about. Have a good day.

I think that is a great great free service that offers both the ability to read reviews and also the ability to write you own review! Great job! I love that this is free and that it takes the hassle out of going on 2, 3, 4, 5 different random pages to read what people are saying.

I have ordered several times from this website and I must say that I am very impressed. The only reason I am not giving it 5 starts is because sometimes I can't find a style I really love and then sometimes when I do it is sold out! Anyway, I love the shoes that I have purchased and also the bags/handbags as well. The quality of the shoes and bags that I have are great. Shoes are true to size and comfy and the bags are last forever! Some of the shoes I have already had for 4yrs and they are still in good shape. I will definitely continue shopping here. A time or 2 I forgot to hit the skip this month button and I was charged the $40 for that month. However, when I called to cancel my membership because I couldn't remember to skip they offered me my money back and a credit to get something for free! Needless to say, I did not cancel and I have remembered to skip whenever I need to. Great customer service and the mobile app is great too!
