I live in a small town so I do a lot of online shopping. I helped my husband build a house just the two of us with our own hands (Ok the kids helped some). Enlisted in the Army a week after I turned 17. My oldest kid is now in college. I have been married for 21 years.
I do my homework on everything I buy. Ebay seller for over 10 years "power seller" which means I know about customer service and what it should be.

I ordered a ton of items for our school Holiday store. ($900 worth) Some items came broken and I had no problem getting credit for them after sending a picture. The problem was I didn't check all the light up items and some were DOA. Overall it was a great experience. I was a little unhappy about the issue with the later discovery and the time I had to spend trying to work it out. I felt it was because I had already reported some damage and made the mistake of taking a few days to check out everything. The customer service reps were very put out with me. I would order again but just be more cautious about the receipt of goods.
I was in charge of the school carnival and needed tons of small prizes. Great selection and easy to work with. I was happy with everything.
I needed prizes the kids at our school would like. They had a great selection and when I bought in bulk the prices were the best I could find. Every thing worked and will use again for the next school event that we need lots of nice prizes. The balls and the light sabers were a hit.
I have a Walmart in my town and that's about it. So when ever I need anything and no time to drive 2 hours to the city I go to Amazon. With Amazon Prime I get it in two days. You just can't beat it. We started our account when building a house as we knew we would need a lot of items that are overpriced in town. It has been 3 years and I have not canceled my membership. It is well worth the yearly fee. Also we get to watch the free prime movies. If they were a bit better with categorizing so you could browse easier we would use them more than Netflix. Currently unless I know the show I want to watch I head over to Netflix instead.
As long as you don't have a problem you are great. My phones are great my coverage is great. The price is amazing! I bought a phone when they were running a special. It expired in a week. (the small print did not say anything about activation just purchase I read every little word) The site said ships in 2 days. WRONG They took a week to mail it and then when I filled out the rebate I got an email saying sorry was activated outside of the dates. The chat is obviously overseas. They don't even read the messages sent I swear. The most frustrating Customer service experience in my life. So ask long as you aren't counting on a limited rebate item you are golden. I really do love my phone, service and paying $100 for 5 lines of unlimited text, talk and 2G of data. You can't beat it. I still recommend them to others but I warn them about the customer support. I can't see any other reason why I need to deal with customer support again so it is smooth sailing from here on out.
This website is like ebay. You need to check out your seller. If they have no sales and no reviews but it from someone else. I have bought from many sellers. Some are very slow in shipping. Some so fast I can't believe it gets to me so quickly. These items are from China so if you really need something on a deadline buy several months in advance so you will not end up without what you need. I have gotten tons of costume jewelry like you would get at walmart but for a fraction of the cost. My favorite are the custom dresses. My daughter is 6' with big shoulders/bust but a small waist. It is impossible to find a dress that fits. She needed a prom dress we ordered it months in advance. Custom fit to her exact measurements. It came in about a month but it was the wrong color. The buyer offered to send another in the correct color if I paid shipping so they wouldn't be out. I understand a mistake so I sent them $ for shipping. Now we own 2 dresses that are amazing for 1/3 of the price I would have had to pay for one that would have needed altering anyways. LOVE THEM.
For those who can't get a dress off the rack to fit. This site is wonderful. They have some great sales that make the dresses very affordable. I have purchased 4 dresses from them so far. They have all been wonderful. You can get the length you like and don't have to worry about altering. Best find ever.
I always buy my electronics from Costco. If I have an issue there is never a problem returning the item. The online store is a great way for me to get items when I don't have the two hours to drive to the store. I love a store I can trust and that has the best customer service of any store I have ever been to.
I have used them all and this one not only is my favorite but the most intuitive software I have used. I switched a few years ago. It doesn't consist of endless pop up upgrade to $$$ every few min. It asks once if I want to upgrade to priority support. I didn't select it and continued on. It didn't keep popping up unlike the big filing companies always did. Also it doesn't cost more to fill out my Sch C or Rental income. Even with all my forms I still finish my return in under 30 min. The Customer Support people are helpful and I don't have to wait forever for an answer to my questions. I would suggest not racing through the screens as I did almost mess up once when filing because I was not reading the screen fully and missed selecting something. I would have had to amend my return had I submitted. Thankfully I caught my mistake before filing. So read each screen and you won't go wrong.
Woot is my favorite place to go. My family loves when they get a woot shirt for a present.
