I shop alot, probably too much (If there is such a thing) and I have NEVER EVER dealt with a company like Free People. I placed an order online (exactly two weeks ago today). I checked status as to when the order would be delivered and the order was listed as "back order". FP didn't contact me at all and, when I went to the site, they had the item in stock in my size ( the item is now out of stock and they will not be restocking it). I emailed FP and requested they fill the order or just cancel it, NOTHING. I waited a few days NOTHING. I emailed again, still pretty patient, NADA. I know they received my emails because I sent one asking a product question and they responded immediately. I finally got fed up and emailed the corporate office, I kept an even tone, and detailed how good a customer I was and just wanted the order canceled. NOTHING and this was the corporate office. I have resolved MANY customer service issues and am pretty patient and diplomatic. I wish I could tell you the issue has been resolved or there were details that I perhaps left out NO and NO. Free People still has my money and my order is still listed as "back order". JUST DON"T BOTHER ordering from the over-priced retail establishment known as Free People because they have no respect for their customers. This has consumed so much of my time that I just don't feel like dealing with it anymore. Has anyone found an effective way to deal with Free People?

A tip for others using this site DON'T ORDER ONLINE from Free People. If you must shop at this over-priced retail store, go in to the site.

I have had a problem with Macy's at LEAST 50% of the time I have placed online orders. I have had my credit card added to without permission. I placed a 40.00 order online@ Macy's. I called to add an item and did not want to pay a separate delivery fee. I used a different card to pay for the second item and advised the sales associate to be careful as I have had my card swiped and over charged. This is the absolute truth, when I woke up the next morning Macy's had charged 274,. 00 to one card and 120.00 to the other and my total original order was 86.00. The associate didn't know how to add to the order without the deliv fee and kept swiping my card trying to figure it out. I was in San Fransisco on a catering job and it took over 90 minutes to straighten this matter out and the supervisor as rude as a person could be said she couldn't do more than take 10% off and she was the one I has spent 90 minutes on the phone with so she knew the extent of the problem. The prices aren't the problem it's the lack of training and care from the associates. I'll pay more for respect@ NORDSTROM's'S.

Love everything about Nordstroms. Love good customer service and we should EXPECT it! Nordstroms always get's it right and if they don't they MAKE it right. Girl's go ahead and spend the money (they have GREAT reductions look at the sale icon) and get it right the first time.

I am the type of woman that likes to shop at home. Oh of course I enjoy going to the mall for a specific item, to stock up on tops at Forever 21 and H&M, and to visit the shoe department at Nordstroms. But, I love flash sale sites and MyHabit is number one. I will shop at Gilt ( a little expensive and more on the "designer side") and Rue la la just getting to know, Ideel (don't, since Group On, bad customer service and the product lines are poor you can get their stuff cheaper at Ross and Forever 21 in my experienced opinion. But MyHabit, owned by Amazon is the best. MyHabit has the widest scope of merchandise and the best discounts. Customer service is prompt and very fair. They do offer refunds, the amount you paid less 3.99 shipping fee for orders under 100.00 back to your credit card unless they very clearly state non-refundable (literally shows up in red in your cart). You must return within 30 days AND you must choose: Refund OR Credit during the return process. My best purchases this past three months; a nue by shani mod colorblock dress $74.00 (it actually went down to 59.00, in a flash sale, items sold today, may repeat another day it quantities are available thus the lower price) regularly $270.00 ( once you place the item in your cart, you have 10 minutes to purchase it, I use this time to check prices BEFORE I buy it). I also got a Members only leather crop jacket in Mushroom, feels and looks like lambskin leather and is good weight so so nice for $149.00, regularly $428.00.
A few things to consider: 1) you have 10 minutes to think about the purchase, is it really a good price, can i get it at the mall cheaper, is it worth the 3.99 for delivery? 2) don't let the fact that you "only" have 10 minutes push you into making a bad purchase i. E. can't afford it, don't really love it, wrong size, color. 3) most things come back around OR something equally amazing remember a new sale starts at 9am PST every single day!

I WAS really happy with IDEELI before groupon. I purchased a Nue by Shani dress on Nov 18th. This was not my first experience with ideel (hence the new name). I have been a good customer for over a year. I have purchased everything here: shoes, coat, maxi dress, workout clothes, dresses etc. The Nue by Shani dress was ordered in my size 4. I received a size 12. I sent the dress back and emailed the company about my return. The company finally acknowledged receiving the dress back at the warehouse on Jan. 2nd. They said 3-5 business days and I would have my refund. I emailed on Jan 10th no response, emailed again this a. M Jan 12th, still no response. It's already insulting that I received the wrong item and this is the customer service response I get. I shop at MyHabit, Gilt and Rue la la. Not only have I NEVER had a problem that wasn't resolved in a timely manner with these flash sale sites, the customer service has been remarkable. It's so sad that ideel treats their good customers this way. Unless Ideel comes up big with my refund (I mean within the next 24 hours) I will NEVER, EVER spend another penny on this site. I'll update you within 2 days. Okay I'm back! It's the 20th of Jan. And this is my update. Ideel customer service manager emailed me within 24 hours of my SiteJabber review. She said she was sorry about the lapse in emails, 4 days, but that many customer service reps were out sick and that's why no prompt response. She also gave me a 25.00 credit for my troubles. She added that I should have emailed them BEFORE my return (I did twice) and that was also part of the problem. Note to retailers: If you are trying to fix a "sticky" customer service issue, leave off the blaming the customer part. My new feeling about Ideel, stay away, NOTHING is worse than poor customer service in my experienced opinion, it's free and all retailers should "lead" with it.

DON"T USE THIS SITE. MyHabit is a flash sale site owned by Amazon.
Use this site instead. If you have a problem, they go out of their way to resolve it. They don't just ignore you.
