WARNING: JetBlue credit card through Barclays Bank. STAY AWAY! Barclays sent a $10,000 payment to my other credit card company that I did not authorize so they could collect a 5% fee on credit card balance transfers. Now I have a $10,000 credit balance on a credit card I paid off 5 days earlier (when I closed my original credit card account with a transfer from my personal checking account). Why would Barclays do this? To collect a non refundable fee of $500 on a credit balance transfer. I HAVE ZERO RECOURSE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE AT BARCLAYS IS ABOMINABLE!

I placed an order order on 3/27/19 for four chairs and four cushions with white glove delivery. The chairs were delivered without the cushions and no one is answering any of my emails, chats or phone calls. Is this because the company is filing for bankruptcy?

Reserved a room at MGM Signature Hotel in Las Vegas between 4/6/19-4/11/19 via a host named Nat S. The host represented the room to be "sparkling clean", "well kept" and able to accommodate "up to 6 guests." It was none of those things. It was dilapidated and appeared to have semen stains everywhere. I bailed out of the room the next morning and neither the host nor Airbnb followed through on refunding my money because the host has a "STRICT cancellation policy". Which means... we collect all your money up front and the guest has no recourse whether the property does or does not represent what it claims to be in the listing. I also wasn't offered a comparable alternative and left to my own device. I currently have three other Airbnbs booked in Europe for this summer. Obviously I can't trust Airbnb to come through if I encounter a similar situation and that could be catastrophic being in another country altogether. Another point worth noting is Airbnb allows you to file a complaint, but they do not get back to you within the 72 hour period they promise. Airbnb also makes it nearly impossible to get someone on the phone or on chat. It appears to be a scam designed to benefit property owners, not guests. STAY AWAY! Use another service or book a hotel. At least you will have recourse and someone to speak with.

On Thursday, March 19th, 2015 I made a reservation to stay at a property in Prague during August. On Friday, March 20th, 2015 (less than 24 hours after I made the original reservation), I notified the property owner and Housetrip I needed to cancel my reservation. Housetop informed me they would only reimburse me 85% of the transaction amount net of their commission fee. I am disputing this charge via Paypal and my credit card company because it is an unfair/illegal policy. In the U.S. we are allowed to cancel a purchase within 24 hours and receive a full refund.

I recommend you DO NOT BOOK with Housetrip because of their inflexible, unfair refund policy.

DO NOT PURCHASE JEWELRY FROM GILT! The promo pictures do not accurately reflect the true value of the item and they do not stand behind their product. If you attempt to return it, they'll give you the run around and then tell you it is a "non refundable" item. I just wasted $1,000 on a necklace that is worth less than $100. I will NEVER ORDER from Gilt again and I strongly recommend others avoid being caught by their scam tactics.

UPDATE: Gilt ultimately agreed to allow me to return the necklace for a full refund AFTER they read my SiteJabber review. Thank you SiteJabber for all your help! I'll let you know if/when they come through with refunding my money.

2nd UPDATE: Mailed back the necklace over a week ago and I still haven't received a refund.

3rd UPDATE: Although I received an email from Gilt's service rep, James, that I would receive a full refund (see below), I DID NOT RECEIVE A REFUND. I RECEIVED STORE CREDIT. Following is a copy of the email I received from Gilt's service rep. Promising me a refund and requesting I modify my Site Jabber review. So now I have $980.00 of store credit with an unethical company that doesn't stand behind its products, services and/or words.
