We are very sorry that you felt misled by the VIP membership program.
The VIP Membership is one of two payment options you select during checkout with your first order. It is an active but flexible membership, meaning that you are not obligated to make a purchase each month, but that between the first and fifth of each month our VIP Members visit the site and either make a purchase or skip the month. It's a button in your showroom, and you may skip as many months as you'd like. If you do not skip or make a purchase between the first and the fifth, you'll see a $39.95 charge on the card, and this amount with turn to store credit available for use at any time.
The terms and conditions of membership are stated twice during checkout, once more in the membership confirmation email, in the two reminder emails before the fifth and in numerous locations on the site.

You are free to cancel your membership any time by calling Client Services at 1.800.433.2367. Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. To 8:30 p.m. EST and speaking with a representative. Unfortunately the connection of the phone lines was very weak and and many calls were disconnected recently because of bad weather. We certainly do not hang up on our customers and we deeply apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you.
