I personally know a guy who met his girlfriend on asiandate.com. Lucky for him, he didn't have to travel far as his sweetheart lived in the States, but they did spend five weeks getting to know each other through the website.

It can get really expensive if you only use live chat and other AD services, but if the woman is truly interested in you, she'll give up her personal details soon enough.
