Not a good experience at all, the advised me with an email (that google identified as a scam email) that my fly was cancelled (IG 932 BKK-MXP September, 13th 2018) so I preferred to contact them over the phone.
In the email they offered me a flight with the same company two days later.
When I called them the only options that they gave me were:
- Or cancelling the flight so all the trip, that means loosing the money of the hotels booked in Italy, the connection flights, bus and trains.
- Or take the offer they were giving me. (no compensation or an alternative flight was even mentioned)
Basically a leave or take offer, so I asked them to rearrange at least the connection flights and bus connected to the flight in question, 40 EURO of an AirAsia flight (That I re-booked at my expenses for 21 EURO) and 23 EURO of a FLIXBUS Bus (that I end up to change for free) so what they were facing was a stupid little amount of money to just having a (almost) satisfied customer, they also advised me to contact the airline to have this things sorted as they were not responsible for it, probably the kiwi.com guarantee is not such a guarantee after all.
What can I say, don't use kiwi.com because it can go very bad, as I said they could have help out with not much more than nothing but they end up to get this review and loose a customer.
I have to say that I won't be surprised that soon I'll get another email that inform me that my return flight will change too, at this point I don't expect anything good from this company.

EDIT: after I accepted the "deal" I contacted them again because I had purchased a travel insurance that end up to be 2 days longer than the necessary, so I asked if this could at least partially refunded, I mean in the bottom of the insurance company receipt there is the stamp of KIWI.COM, guess what? I have to contact the insurance company directly. There is nothing else to add.

I was an airbnb host and I got a ahck of a problem with this useless bunch of idiots, I get a family that didn't followed at all the rule of the house, basically they should sleep in 2 rooms (2 parents with 3 children) and the children where not suppose to sleep alone, in 3 days this kids made over 15.000 THB (500 USD) of damages to my house including the total destruction of a ceiling and a ceiling fan (the same day of the check out) and they refused to pay for the damages. Airbnb claim to have an insurance in this cases but when I claim my rights first the suspend my account then when I asked to reactivate it they wrote me this email:

We regret to inform you that we'll be unable to support your account moving forward, and have exercised our discretion under our Terms of Service to disable your account(s). This decision is irreversible and will affect any duplicated or future accounts.

Hotelrunner is in a few worlds a scam, I went in and activate a bunch of 'free trials' to make it operative but it really never worked, I connected it to agoda.com and was no way to actually update the prices on agoda.com with the rate that I was updating in the system, when I was updating the prices the allotments went $#*!ed up and I spent 2 hours to set it back to find out the next day that, after a booking in the night all the availability was $#*!ed up again! It just don't work, it's probably the most expansive channel manager I tried recently and the customer service get upset if you say them that the system is not working properly... I gave 1 star because I cannot give ZERO but ZERO it's what hotelrunner.com is worth.

Tip for consumers:
Just look for different sites, beds24.com is a good and functional alternative.

As hotel owner I'll like to say that Agoda is the best website you can use, they manage payment and guarantee you to don't lost any money if the customer braking the cancellation rules. Got a awesome customer service that reply you (and the customers) in a few hours round the clock, no matter at what time you write them they will answers your. All the customer servicemen are speaking English and many speaking other languages. It is absolutely the best

Everybody know that booking got the opportunity to book with credit card and without... what happen when you book with CC? Do you know that booking.com send directly to the Hotel ALL you credit card details? Do you know that if you are an hotel owner and you don't have a POS station for insert the credit card data of the customer that booking provide you yo don't have any guarantee to get paid by the customer if they don't show up? Do you know that booking.com make you pay commission also on the non show booking if the person that placed the booking lie to them and say that he did checked in in the hotel? Do you know that booking.com is totally a $#*!? I used 3 year agoda.com (and still use it) and in 3 years I've got 3 non show, after one month in booking.com, 4 non show and a review written by one of this non show i say it again, booking.com is $#*!!

Just let them die
