So you have a reloadable card. You can reload them yourself virtually anywhere now just by having the register person slide them and you putting money back on them. This card service "Reloadit" is a 3rd party middleman webpapp that can manage all of that. Sounds great in theory except that IT DOESN'T WORK! You have to use their proprietary site to get the money loaded to your prepaid card and it will stick on "verifying your card" for HOURS! It takes literally 0 seconds to verify a card, not hours. Forget this garbage, and there's no way to remove the money from the website once you've attached the prepaid reload card to it. They've got you at that point and you're screwed.

Stay away, stay very very very very away. 100% scam and unnecessary piece of TRASH! Unbelievable that this stuff is allowed to exist if it doesn't work. Rotten garbage.

Friend told me to go here so I could share a file with him. Wasted 5 minutes of my life reading their non-instructions, trying different browsers, making an account, trying to make a link name it said was invalid, dragging and dropping only to just have the file open for me (wow I can do that myself!), the whole 9 yards.

It's supposed to upload the file and provide me a link, does nothing. Maybe I'm supposed to download the ap? But it says it's a browser thing, wtf!? I don't want to download another damn app. Which is it? A stupid useless website for an app? Huh?

Stupid worthless waste of time. Stay away until they can provide legitimate instructions on how to use their website / product.

What's on their site is never available in store, even when it says it is and store confirms it. They get you to "buy up" aka something more expensive that you didn't want and that item will rarely work for very long, if it isn't DOA entirely.

Update. Had to deal with them on an attempted warranty the other day on a different product. They put these stickers on their refurb that say "we honor full manufacturer's warranty." Well they don't. That's a laugh and a half. Call center tells you to go into the store where you're at the mercy of the store manager. No way to talk to the store manager on the phone and they don't respond to emails.

So I have a higher-end video card that still has 3 years left on a full warranty that's essentially a paperweight. Manufacture would have covered it if it had been entered into warranty but it never had... so someone took the warranty card... leaves me with this darn card and the bill to boot.

Completely worthless. Buy from anywhere else.

Here's the thing about DA... it's extremely complicated to categorize, just like art itself. DA basically boils down to, "What is art?" DA is like the single source on the entire planet where that question is fought (besides the whole video game art situation.)

So when you go to DA, plan on trying to realize that art is extremely subjective and just because you don't like what you see, or are offended... that's too bad. Art is art and it boils down to intention.

So are you going to see great art? Yeah. Will you see a lot of adult content? Yeah. Will you see everything in between? Yep. Does the adult content filter work? Most of the time. Can you get the moderators to take care of business when there are seriously violent / criminal acts being posted? Yes but they're a tad on the slow side due to staffing. They seem to get to it about as fast as Twitter does.

DA is only ever going to be as mature as the people that visit. As long as a mature audience is there holding the line, DA is going to be the beacon for art on the internet but if we get frustrated and leave we're going to lose it and never get it back again.

Please come to DA, help keep it clean and in perspective where your knowledge is strongest, otherwise try not to be offended just because you don't like something. And if you see something violent, do the right thing and report it.

Vudu is a huge pile of steaming scamming crap. Not only have they lost my current business, but any future business too. I was lured in by it seamlessly integrating with my XBL only to find out once my XBL Gold expired not only can I not order new movies, BUT I CAN'T EVEN WATCH MY CURRENT ONES! Total, complete, utter, 100%, scam. Pure and simple.

Been wanting to buy something off GOG for a few years and finally a Dungeon Keeper 2 promo came along where it was like $2.50. I couldn't pass it up. Well not only did the site actually do what it was supposed to, but the game was fully patched AND actually plays properly! And on top of that I got Witcher for free which I wasn't expecting and didn't even know about that promo. Maybe my expectations are really low and I'm used to things never, ever working, but GOG did come through seamlessly.

So... obviously you need Steam due to some games ONLY being on Steam (and some content being workshop-only also, and multi-player 1st or 3rd party...), but whenever possible get your stuff DRM-free from GOG.
