I was so busy I couldn't go out shopping for clothes, and I decided to try Light in the Box for some fashionable clothing to wear to a writer's conference. I work out of my home, and only had ONE pants suit that I wear to conferences. I wear a 12-18 (12-14 tops, 18 pants), and I was worried about the fit and whether anything would even arrive, because I had read some bad reviews. I ordered everything in the biggest sizes I could (3XL, 4XL, 5XL, 6XL, depending on what the size report said were the measurements for the clothing). I looked for elastic-pants or wide leg/easy fit pants, loose-fitting dresses, and flowing clothes so there would be more chance of them fitting. What I really liked was that the clothing was different than anything else that's available in department stores -- so I was able to find chiffon-over-tunics that had some beautiful designs and styles, for $15-25 each. To me, that's worth taking a chance on. The clothing is very high quality and sewn beautifully, though there was a slub of thread sewn into one lace top that made it look as if it had a stain on it. Rather than send it back, I'm getting some dye to make the shirt a darker color and hide the thread that accidentally got sewn into the shirt design. I paid for the premium shipping, everything arrived in one box, and everything was there. Evidentally I wear a 6X size as a size 18... the size 3X pants are more of a size 12-14, so be aware of the small sizes. The 4X dress that is supposed to fit "loose" fits OK though I'd like it to fit looser. The 3X and 4X pants that didn't have elastic waists were too small, but I'm keeping them since I'm losing weight. Absolutely beautiful, fashionable, high-quality clothing, sewn with care. Just be aware that the sizes are very small. If you are a 14, 16, 18, or more, you're probably a 4X, 5X, or 6X, though that would be a HUGE size in U.S. sizes that would fit someone who was a size 24W or higher in the U.S. I can't get used to the sizes. Chinese women are evidentally very small. I'm 5'6" and about 175 pounds, and I have big arms and shoulders. The sleeves on a couple of the dresses are somewhat small, but they fit (barely-4X). I love the clothes. I can't find the flowing, lacy, chiffon and silk-printed style anywhere else online or in stores. I did buy another dress on sale from Macy's, and it was $49.95 (on sale). For that price, I got 3 dresses from Light in the Box, and they were really unusual, one-of-a-kind, proud to be wearing, amazing dresses. I tend to look like a log dressed up like a person when I try to wear fancy clothes (I feel and look weird and uncomfortable), but these dresses were sleek and flowing and classy. I would feel comfortable wearing them to a fancy dinner or any work conference, and they are definitely artsy dresses suitable for a writer's workshop. They are also conservative, with higher necklines than are usual with U.S. styles right now, which I appreciate. Thank you, Light in the Box!

The jewelry is inexpensive, and I don't think I would order that again -- it looks like inexpensive jewelry, if you know what I mean. But the clothing... ahhhhh. Beautiful!

I did not use quibids, but in reviewing a lot of the other's comments, it seems as if Quibids is exactly the same as those arcade games in which you press a button to move a mechanical arm out over a bunch of stuffed animals and then try to lower the lever to win your stuffed animal. Anyone who has ever played this "entertainment" knows how stacked it is against the player. This site preys upon the very worst in human nature -- the gambling instinct -- and feels no guilt in doing so. Everyone should refuse to use such a predatory site and save their money for legitimate auctions. DON'T MAKE ANY MORE MONEY FOR QUIBIDS! PUT QUIBIDS OUT OF BUSINESS!
