We booked a room in Florence for two nights with Booking.com and needed to add a third night. They sent an email with a tab to hit that said Yes, we want an additional night. Unfortunately, there's no way to show I hit the tab, although why wouldn't I? When we checked in to the hotel, we were informed our reservations was for two nights and they were fully booked the third night. After the front desk person talked to Booking, they put me on the phone. The guy said he'd send me the list of 452 hotels in Florence so I could pick another one. I told him I only had a smartphone with unsecured WiFi access and I wasn't going to waste my time going through the list. They said they'd send it to the hotel and they would help. Luckily, a room became available. I wrote about the situation and they once again claimed I didn't ask for the third night, probably knowing I couldn't prove they messed up. For the lack of crediting me some 42 Euros, here's your review, Booking.com.
