Same premise as mycleanpc.com! Trick the NON tech savvy into forking over A LOT of money for problems that did not exist and pretend to fix them. STAY AWAY!
The CyberDefender family of brands includes MyCleanPC, MaxMySpeed,
And DoubleMySpeed. Their software and company premise is to prey on the people who are not computer literate and trick them into paying for products or services which will mostly likey make the problems worse or didnt exist in first place and part you from your money. RESEARCH - just google the above companies (mycleanpc.com scam, etc.). DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES SOFTWARE OR SERVICES and above all DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION! Take your PC somewhere you can talk to someone face to face!
Signed up and was quoted a price and then was charged $30/month more. I would say it was pure bait and switch. I was able to cancel it but what a hassle. I don't know if this a normal practice but felt pretty shady. They were given all accurate info from the beginning then charged my card more without explanation.
I have been a member for a few years now and have made approximately $130! I have always gotten paid when supposed to. Get paid to read emails, watch videos, shopping, and other offers. The only thing I would say is questionable is that you have to get after them sometimes to get credit for something like signing up for a service or newsletter, etc...
Stay Away! You will be infected by "drive-by downloads". You do not get updates from Java this way! I am sure what they download to your computer if you let it is probably a keylogger and worse!
Same as MAXMYSPEED.COM and MYCLEANPC.COM, same scam! Take your computer(s) somewhere you can talk to someone face to face! You might as well buy a new PC for all the money they will swindle from you! That's all it is- scare people who don't know anybody better and sucker them into purchasing basically NOTHING! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR FINANCIAL INFO, that's all they want $$$!
