Their items are cute if uncomfortable, but the way adore me charges a card each month without a confirmation is annoying and unacceptable. Even when I changed my card number they somehow continued charging me, when I called to cancel and get a refund I was put on hold for 30 minutes and then told I was unable to get a refund.

The membership is one of two payment options (the other is Pay as You Go) customers select during checkout with their first order. Members are not obligated to order each month, instead, they visit the site between the first and fifth and decide to either shop or skip that month.
If you do not take action between the first and the fifth, you’ll see a $39.95 charge on the card. This amount turns to store credit you can use at any time! We send reminder emails, but also offer a no-questions-asked 30 day refund policy for your convenience, here: http://askadoreme.com.
In order to be eligible for a refund of store credit beyond 30 days, you must send an email to our claims department at claims@adoreme.com explaining the case and why you were not able to request a refund within our 30 day limit.
Customers are free to cancel their membership at any time, except if they are enrolled in payment vacation or if their order is processing/in transit. If you would like to cancel, please send us an email at help@adoreme.com and we will send you the instructions on how to cancel your VIP membership.
