When I first used this site, I thought it was a pretty good deal. However, by signing up, you automatically give them the authorization to charge your credit/debit card. DO NOT SIGN UP, unless you are willing to pay the monthly fees of $39.95. They have taken over $400 from me. I would never, ever recommend this site to anyone, and I'm pretty sure the hidden fees are the only way this company makes money.
The product wasn't even of great quality.
Bottom line: STAY AWAY. I'm extremely furious, and will be doing everything I can to get my money back.

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience with us. We certainly do not automatically sign customers up to the VIP membership. The VIP Membership is one of two payment options you select during checkout with your first order (the other is Pay As You Go, our one-time purchase option).

It is an active but flexible membership, meaning that you are not obligated to make a purchase each month, but that between the first and fifth of each month our VIP Members visit the site and either make a purchase or skip the month. It’s a button in your showroom, and you may skip as many months as you’d like.

If you do not skip or make a purchase between the first and the fifth, you’ll see a $39.95 charge on the card, and this amount will turn to store credit available for use at any time. The terms and conditions of membership are stated twice during checkout, once more in the membership confirmation email, in the two reminder emails before the fifth and in numerous locations on the site.

As mentioned in our Terms and Conditions, here: http://www.adoreme.com/terms-conditions, credits resulting from the monthly charge on the 6th are eligible for a direct refund up to 30 days past the date of the charge. In order to be eligible for a refund of store credit beyond 30 days, you must write a letter to our claims department explaining the case and why you were not able to call within our 30 day limit to request a refund.
