There was a job for taking care of a dog in someone's home for $15 an hour. I went to apply the job because it's in my area. Filled out an entire profile put my phone number put my email address went to send a message to respond to the job and instantly it says we're not sending any of your message your information until you upgrade your account. $29 a month $109 per year to walk a dog.? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? I've attached pictures of their charges and the blurred messages because they won't even let anyone contact me unless I pay their fees. So I wasted my time filling out a profile as well. Now they email me constantly with all these jobs in my area and when I go to respond there's nothing there. Also shows that I've had one visit to my pet sitter page but I get emails every day stating that someone is looking to hire me and I better pay to upgrade so I can get in touch with them. Why is there only one visit on my page if 20 people tried to contact me? Give me a break! This company is a scam to get your money for an occasional dog or cat sitting job that might come available once a year. The money I might've made from that job that might've happened would be spent on signing up for their website for $109 plus per year! You have to be stupid to spend that much money per year to maybe get a job walking a dog! Taking $ and preying on hardworking people trying to make a living or kids trying to get to college!
Word-of-mouth will work better or print up fliers and put them around town or in mailboxes. Why would I pay that much money per month when I am taking jobs walking dogs for $10/hr.! I wonder how much money they rip people off for today? Pics attached. Save your money and do not sign up for this site or their sister companies, sitter.com, petsitter.com, etc.
When people catch on that their site is a rip-off, they come up with another name and another site to get people to post on their crappy sites to get more money from hardworking people trying to make a living or kids trying to get to college!
Here are all of their sites:
PetSitter.com is a Part of the CareGuide Family
CanadianNanny.ca Sitter.com Housekeeper.com PetSitter.com ElderCare.com HouseSitter.com ChildCareAdvantage.com Nanny Lane
Also as far as safety using these sites, I spelled out my email address in my ad to avoid paying to get a message and I got a response from someone that asked for my name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, and telephone number stating that it was so he could pay me when I started walking his dog. I didn't even contact him yet or agreed to do it. I don't think these pay for sites eliminate the stranger danger! It was cool that I did find a loophole not to pay $109 for someone to respond to a dog walking job though.

I read their explanation of how they researched flights and when they are cheapest to purchase. I looked at Aruba from 3/19/16-3/26/16 and they are showing me the costliest flights compared to Orbitz or United or CheapOAir! They say if the fare goes lower they will give me a $100 credit to use with them again. Why the heck would I book with them to begin with. I will go directly to United and see if the fare drops on labor day! Good Luck and safe travels!
