I wanted to comment on how great Zazzle.com is as an on-line company. To welcome the newest member of my husbands family, baby Elli, everyone will be getting together in a few weeks to meet her for the first time. (She was born in August & lives in Wyoming with her mommy & daddy). As a family tradition, we get a button for each big ocassion we are together. So, in honor of little ms. elli, we wanted to order a button with her picture on it to celebrate "Elli-Palooza!" So, on Friday, I downloaded her picture, created the button and ordered 20 of them to be shipped. I received an order confirmation email immediately. Then, on Saturday, I received another email stating they were being shipped! AMAZING! Not only did the company deliver what they promise, they deliver quickly. We have ordered from them before and will do so again! Thank you Zazzle.com
On October 6, 2009 I ordered place cards holders for an event on October 24, 2009. I received a email confirmation of the order, and my credit card was charged. After 2 weeks I had not received the order, so I called AND emailed several times over the course of a week, and NEVER received a response. Needless to say, I never received my order, and had to contact my bank to dispute the charges. In my event planning expereience, this is the WORST customer service EVER!
I just ordered chinese takeout boxes for my wedding favors, I got them 9 days after they were ordered and they were exactly as described...after I saw the bad reviews I e-mailed the company and got a response within 48 hours and they stated that bad customer service was from back in 2006 when they were under different management. I would use their site again in a heartbeat!
I'm happy for you that your order was as expected. And although I agree, management can cause a lot of issues within a company; it does not excuse their complete lack of customer service. I find it interesting that when you contact them to report a poor review, you got a response. But why was I never contacted by the company after my order was placed and my credit card charged? Why were 5 phone calls, and 3 emails, never returned? BTW: for anyone else reading these comments, my experience was from October 2009, and the reason they gave Kristi V. for poor service was management issues in 2006? I find that completely inexcusable. I still stand by my previous review and would NEVER recommend this company.
