Card holder for years. Customer service is nice but the service level itself is increasingly bad. Cards get rejected by sellers and utility providers, but the transactions are booked and then you have to wait 10 days to get your money back. The feedback form from Payoneer had a limited number of characters but didn't say how many, nor did it say how many was I over the limit. This makes giving feedback extra hard. If you don't care about customer's opinion, don't ask for it.

Just joined. Spent almost a whole day of my life critiquing a story that promised 2 points. Clicked submit and what do you know, I got 0.5 points. This is a ripoff of your time. Don't use.
Note: this wouldn't have been such a big surprise if the rules were clear. But the FAQ doesn't say: dear user, you do this on your own risk and you might not get any payoff out of it because that's just how we roll. No, you're left to find out at your own expense. And there's the option to go bed a moderator, maybe you get your points? So you need to work more and spend more time, and ask nicely for what you were promised in the first place. Bait and switch, it's what this is called, and in a world where businesses are regulated it would be illegal.

Thank you for your comments. I believe this might be a misunderstanding of the review process. You will get 2 points for any 300 word crit on a story that is still up for review for a period of one week but as soon as the story is no longer up the payout will be 1/2 credit which is what happened to you.
If you had clicked that 'send moderators a message' link you would have gotten the full payout, no questions asked. There is no bait and switch going on, you simply encountered an unfortunate side effect of stories only having a limited time in the sun.

I ordered and got the products in Europe. The shipping time was quite long but that's entirely expected. Unfortunately I paid a lot for delivery and the items are horrible. I ordered about 10 products and not even one was nice. They were all poor and extremely poor quality, sizes not fitting etc. Just awful. I will try to return them but given that the cost for shipping were almost half the cost of the order when the items arrived, I'm not sure it's worth returning. It's definitely not a scam but I recommend against.

It is dubious that Freelancer has the option to delete a user account, and that the option is available while the user has open projects. This feature alone is encouraging for a lack of accountability.
I've just joined and out of three projects I received two were scams. Two users deleted their accounts shortly after awarding me the projects, but not before I already wasted a couple of days working. Many of my freelancer colleagues seem to agree that Freelancer is creating fake accounts and fake projects to rob their honest users. They could at least have the decency to delete the fake accounts IMMEDIATELY after they award them, such they at least rob you of only your money and not your time too.

Hi, Alma. We can assure you that we do not intefere, in any way, on the posted projects on the site. What we can assure you, however, is that every project and profile is being monitored by our dedicated team. We do close spam accounts (and those with violations) as well as delete invalid projects. Should you encounter one, do not hesitate to report it to us and so we can immediately conduct an investigation. Thank you for your feedback. Take care!

  • VerbalizeIt

10/23/15

What most people don't know about this website is that their translators and transcribers and evaluated and chosen based on the feedback of the "community", meaning other people already working on the website. Basically there is no verification because it's enough to have a few unskilled people, which in turn will also choose other unskilled people.

  • DressLily

I made an order from DressLily in December 2014 and started receiving the goods in January, which means they moved reasonably quick. Some products are very nice (the jewelry, a corset, and a few dresses) but some of them were really poor. They don't publish reviews under 4 stars.
