Another site with mix feelings. They're plenty of scammers that cheap lots and lots of people. A lot of common sense things you might need to know. Have a separate email just in case for spammers or third parties. Watch for the flashy colors, lights, and to good to be true offers. You never know what you could get into. I also like it cause of all the sellers online that could trade, sell, buy, and even find jobs. Couple of my friends found legitimate name jobs just because the company didn't know where to put job postings at. Just watch, read, and double check.

Come on! More reviews on Yahoo! Lol.

Anyway, there's only two things I use yahoo for. My junk mail for yahoo, and the main topic, my news. Not saying I'm staying one side on the yahoo writers and all, but its seriously simple, easy access, and they give you an up date on almost anything that happens! Popular, world, leisure, disasters, etc. Besides that, i use google for all other tasks :P Still after so many years since I use yahoo when I was a kid, I'm still using it for other means.

So I have mixed feelings for this website. It's more of a love dislike relationship.
Besides using this site find all the great places around my area or when I travel, it also shows me the places I shouldn't visit. I'm a pretty decent guy when it comes to places with reviews lower than 3 stars. I give them the benefit of the doubt and read at least 5-6 different reviews before choosing it.
Always keep in mind what kind of person is reviewing, how many stars they rated other places, the reason there were complaining, etc etc. They're people out there who are just complete d-bags (seriously).
Beside using yelp, I'm all for" word of mouth" and even television (man vs food :D ). I'm not even done with talking about yelp itself!

What I've heard (and hearing just on a radio station), they had a interview with one of the head ponchos on yelp. Explaining about the system where they filter good reviews and bad reviews. Supposedly they try to sell ads to certain business and "explain" to them they can help get rid of bad reviews... and increase the good ones to show up. Some say "no" and start noticing bad reviews filtering out more. I'm not sure what station it was, but you can try finding it online. There's a lot more to it as well. Just google it.

Again it's just mixed feelings. Even hearing that, I still use yelp and usually right good reviews for a lot of the places I go to. Only a few i wrote bad, but not to many. Pretty considerate guy. Good yelping!

PS. This site jabber is pretty much the yelp format for websites :)

Never had a wrong with this client. Sharing files ranging from docs, clips, music, and files (above 24 mbs or whatever you think is big) that are above what emails can send is simply amazing. I've used it for plenty of organizations and family members. Get it! What's good about it... Its free!

Seriously who doesn't love this site?! Besides being the second biggest search engine, it has entertainment, information, ads that click on everyday, and very creative videos that I would always dream of watching. There's not one person that does not like it or even heard of this site. Keep it going youtube!

Still loving buy.com right now. They have a pretty good selection and I'm never disappointed in what they do. I've talked to their customer service about returning some items and they never had a problem with me. Hopefully everyone had a good run with them or they can assist you on fixing your conflicts. Recommend!

Probably the same thing that everyone else is saying, stay away from this site! I don't how many of my friends and family members got scammed by these hooligans (yes hooligans). Might as well tell us we're getting scammed! Half the coupons I bought are either not used, restaurants don't accept it, or they're out of business.
My recommendation: just go to sites or coupons that offer it for free. No more of this paying for coupon stuff! Or at least call the establishment before you buy it. Seriously...

I bought a few things from these guys. Just make sure you use them. Definitely appauled that Groupon has a better ranking then them. I've heard more complaints about Groupon then Living Social. Anyway, just use it right away. I prefer going to sites that offer a coupons for free that are exactly like the deals from living social. I'm not too much on the bandwagon for living socials, but I don't dislike them. Just be careful cause you never when you're going to get screw up the... ya know.

  • Groupon

I have a few things that bothers me. Beside feeling bad for small businesses that can't survive business bother and if anything didn't do their research, I feel this is pretty much a scam for businesses and consumers. I mean businesses lose a pretty big chunk of money if they get to many, which I'm sure they don't limit on their site. Not enough customer demand means it's down here from there. Sticking with free coupons for now...
