$#*!tiest company ever. Horrible service, no one speaks any kind of English that is discernible in any way. I called to modify a reservation, some random person who I could barely hear let alone understand told me "someone will contact you to fix this" and was fully ready to hang up... as though I was supposed to just wait any ambiguous amount of time for someone to drop from the sky and contact me. I inquired when, and she told me within the next 4 hours... wonderful. Of course they called the wrong number - after I had given them my California number. Naturally, it makes logical sense to call a my parents' number in Canada instead. So I called back, and "Ben" indicated to me that I need to pay a cancelation fee (duh) and cover the additional fare difference between the flight I booked accidentally and my intended flight. So, I'm LOOKING at the fare difference ON their piece of crap website which tells me that the difference is less than $100 CAD for two people and he's telling me that the website is not accurate and the difference is $200 for the two people... I was seriously about to lose my mind with this idiot. Like, what the hell is this? Either he's lying or your website is a giant piece of crap... not that I'm surprised since evidently it's all run out of India. Feeling as though I have no other option (other than to just completely lose all the money on it and go directly to Air Canada to book another two flights), he sends me some bull$#*! email only stating "do you authorize x-payment to fare geek"... for f*ckin what?! What kind of bull$#*! email is that? Do I just authorize a random payment with no description? So I authorized it, he told me he "needed to do so much work" i. E. to rebook a damn flight (a 5 year old could easily do that) and that he will complete it and send me my new booking in 30mins. AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER, AFTER I emailed him asking where it is, he sends it to me. $#*!tiest service ever! Clearly run on Indian time (which Faregeek should probably state on their website for full disclosure), totally irresponsible staff and horrible service. I would strongly advise everyone even considering to use this junky excuse for a service company, to reconsider and just book directly from the respective airline. I'm not sure how these people are even still in business. Additionally, I left them a complaint email and of course, no one bothered to respond with anything, let alone a simple "we're sorry (that we suck so much)". Horrible - absolutely horrible. If I could give this company 0 stars, I absolutely would!
