Camera repair work requires extreme patience and a delicate hand and darntoothysam.com does great work and you can't beat their prices. Dealt with Thomas concerning a problem with my camera. He is a very nice guy and he obviously works hard and is good at what he does. A+
Customers griping need to understand that small businesses are ran by real people who are passionate about what they do and should be treated with decency. Repairs take time and patient...so as customers you need to be patient with the repair. A rushed job is a bad job. Be kind and you'll be surprised at how nice people are.
Has some of the best and most widely used reference on the Web, but watch out for vandalism - when some idiot tries to put spam in a page. The vandalism is fixed quickly though. Not a 4-star site because of Vandalism. Still one of the best sites of the World Wide Web.

Thomas D. [Darntoothysam.com Rep] I do not make fake names to leave comments, unlike what some people seem to be doing here. What is your order # Amy? What is your model camera?
I think this person is a man I spoke to that bought a Canon 300D shutter box and damaged his camera trying to fix it himself. I emailed him the service manual and after looking at it he called me back and said he wanted to send the part back for a refund and not put more money into fixing his. I told him that would be fine, we would refund it once he sent it back.
