This site isnt what it says it is. I visited it and its nonthing but a way to advertise Tech crap. There's no reviews or anything. Im not sure on if the things this site is doing is even legal. It airs TV Networks Live from the Internet. If there are Networks that have an Online Streamer or dont have any live video feeding, it will link to the sites Video page. I dont think its legal, but in this case, I dont really care, I'll still use it.

I havent been at twitter for even a year yet, but I can say that Twitter is very safe. Now yes, it could use room for improvement but, hey. There really isnt much in the way of control or accessibility to crap you post or what you want displayed on your main feed. PARENTS?! Dont let Websites seemingly innocent home page fool you. This site is f-ed up. Even though I use the site, It is a Mostly Lolicon Image Search Engine that has over 600,000 images. At last check the site is worth over 4 Million US Dollors(which shocked the HELL outta me).

Parents Alert: The filters are not really maintained. Plus the only way to accessd the filter is to click "My Account" and look for it. Even then, there is no promissing that it will be useful. Its really quite sad. But worst of all, it doesnt follow the U.S. Child Online Protection Act, even though the site is in the USA. There is no thingy that ask if your over 18 or not, NOTHING! I have evidence from Tracing, that shows that Dreamhost is a fake. Apon Tracing the I.P. of a Music and Video Pirating website called, Gendou, I discovered who ever runs Dreamhost, also runs Gendou. I did farther looking and found that Dreamhost doesnt own any other website. Im not expert, but I think it speaks for itself.

It’s not a scam, but it’s not registered copyright as in “registered with the copyright office”.

It offers you minimal protection, which for some might seem better than none.

MFC started back when they were debating the US gov. was debating the new copyright amendments. In that debate was something about copyright registration becoming a private business, rather than having it run the way the copyright office currently is set up. Costs would be per image (as it is in Canada) rather than per disc full of images. At that point there were some folks thinking ahead and setting up copyright registration “companies” that would apply to be granted status when this was passed, which as far as I know, it never was.

MyFreeCopyright is helpful in that it lets people viewing your work know that you are aware of copyright laws and that the image is copyright protected. You don’t need MFC to have copyright to your work.

Registration in the copyright office is required when you file a lawsuit though – at least if you want to recoup as much money as you can, and in that case, MFC registration would be useless.
