“I have been using YouSendIt for many years”

I have been using YouSendIt for many years. Great Product. Could not run my business without it. I know the site was down recently but other sites have been down also. One fortune 100 company that I work with had issues last year and was down. It does not change my opinion of either company. The issues were addressed in less than 24 hours. I have never had a problem with billing and the cost is minimum.

I have been paying for this product automatically for 6-7 years and I couldn't track down what it was for. I was never emailed a bill so I had no idea that it was happening. It was so old that the email address they had was one that was closed 5 years ago. When asked for proof of what I signed up for or proof of how many times I had used the product they said they were not able to provide that. Surely returned emails from a closed account would have indicated that there was no use of the product as there was zero communication. Does anyone know who I could approach to seek assistance in having the company return my money? Help

The company auto-bills without your permission. I did use the service, and they say they tell you when you sign up that you'll get a bill in another year. Figured they'd send me a notice. Nope. A year later they bill you- never giving you the option- without your permission. I never received any notice. I disputed it twice and they still are billing me. I will never work with them again.

A YouSendIt.com subscriber for over 3 years. No longer have a subscription and can't send a music file over 50 mb without upgrading to a premium account. Ridiculous. Wetransfer.com thanks for bailing me out!

Company has double billed me for the past 6 months and they can't find the problem. Customer service is polite, but has been completely unhelpful. I'm guessing the chances are small that you'll have a billing problem, but if you do, don't expect them to help you solve it.

Very useful website as you can finally send large email attachments. Here is the trick, sign up and then cancel, when you try to cancel they will automatically give you a great deal. Same hold true for almost any subscription site, just try to cancel and they give you the real deal.

Avoid like the plague. Unreliable. System was down for an entire day recently. I think this company is experiencing some serious issues.

Yousendit.com is a great website to use for sending those large, unwieldy files that are too large to send through gmail or yahoo mail. You can send files up to 100MB easily. Uploads and downloads are quick, and even if the files aren't so huge, it saves me the time of waiting for my email client to get it done.

I don't love all the advertisements for me to upgrade, but otherwise, I love how yousendit.com makes it easy for me to send large attachments like photos, videos and music all for free. So I put up with the ads and love it anyway.

This is a great way to send files too large to send directly by email. Their free services are good for a lot of users, and upgrading to their paid services is pretty reasonable.

I needed to send several large files. Their free trial allows one file at a time. So I upgraded to the 14-day free trial of the pro account. It said I could cancel withing 14 days and not be billed. I wasn't able to get the files to send! I left the house and came back hours later to them still sitting in the queue. Well, I checked, and it appeared my upgrade didn't "take." I was shown as having a "Lite" account. I still wanted to check a week or so later to be safe. It showed that not only had I upgraded my account, but I'd been charged IN ADVANCE for the upcoming year. It's $9.99 a month! It says if you're seeing taht you're signed up for a Lite account and still being billed, you must have two accounts, two emails. BUT I only have one email address. How is this possible? I'm on the phone, on hold for 23 minutes now. No one has answered.

I would write a nice review if everything was running smooth like these other satisfied costumers.

I paid for the $49 service (up to 2G). When I sign in, it says "okay, all done." Then, when I try to upload, it says, "that's a pretty big file, blah, blah, blah...!" It directs me to sign up again!

I try to contact their office and they have Mon-Fri hours only- so it says if you would like to leave a message..., press three for costumer service" So, when you do that, it just runs through a list of common problems, none of which pertain to this, and then it disconnects- no where to leave a message! Oh, and the live chat doesn't work either- isn't that special!

If they can't even employ people on the weekend, or outside of business hours to answer costumer service calls/emails, they do not understand what costumer service is- they are doing the bare minimum- quite pathetic!

I was to send four hi-res. Files to Natures Best in August 2011, USA. They told me it was free, but when I tried sending it, it said,"It's a big file" and asked me to pay US$9.99 for one time use. I paid it (on 06th Aug. 2011) but internet connection broke off and my files were not sent, but I was charged. I opted for sending files by paying US$9.99 again as a monthly subscription, my files went but I was charged twice for one job. It is highly unfair, their website states that if your files are not transferred, you wouldn't be charged. I posted them an email, they never replied.
After that I unsubscribed their monthly plan, which was duly acknowledged by e mail, but to my surprise and horror, they have yet again charged my credit card with a US$9.99. Their website says, I'm a free user but they keep on charging me. Is it the way they deal with recession.
Hope sombody will listen to my complaint.
