“Purchased "Yoshiblade" after TV add, which made it...”

Purchased "Yoshiblade" after TV add, which made it sound like exactly what we were looking for; an all around effective knife that would last for a long time without need of sharpening. On receipt however we were very disappointed with product as the instructions for its use has more restrictions on what it can't be used for that what it can be used for. Things of course they don't tell you in their commercial. Buyer beware... this is not a good product and is not worth the money they get out of you.

Too much Hype - Can't be quality products for the (low) prices quoted, which turn out to be over $50. I would pay $30-50 for a single quality ceramic knife without the gimmicky, goofy 2nd "free" knife, "peelers" and sneaky, inflated S&H. USPS can ship that small pkg for much less. "Handling"? What's that?
It's unfortunate that there are so many poor gullible souls to buy into this

It is such a total scam. The knife and peeler... and another set free Totaled around $36. Then they do not tell you another $34 for shipping. 2 knives and 2 peelers cost $34 to send? I don't think so. You do not get to know the hidden costs after you order. Then the 800 number does not answer. When you finally get a person with a pulse,"there is nothing we can do". DO NOT order this. It is an overpriced scam.

I watched TV ad and purchased the knife online.
They asked to give them credit card information first.
After the order was completed I found they charged much more, about twice as much.
I called them and asked about it and I found they charged shipping and handling fee almost as much as the price of the knife.
I told the employee that I want to cancel the order, but she told me their system cannot get the information in 24 hours and told me to call them again next day for cancellation.
Next day when I called them again, they said it's shipped already!
It's a scam!

I decided to order 2 knives, 1 for me and 1 for my daughter, fell for the larger set offer and got caught by their website. Once you 'click' you haven't a chance go back, change or to either see what you are actually getting or spending until it's too late. When I realized what I had actually spent and ordered (*4* sets, $137.86) in the 'confirmation', I figured, "Oh well, a couple of people on my Christmas list are going to get a more expensive gift than I intended". (The sets, with s/h worked out to almost $35 each.) Then they arrived. The promised "Boxed for gift giving"? 2 sets to a box! Yeah. Like I'm going to give 1 box to 2 different people! I can't even salvage it like that! Total waste. I guess that's what I get for ordering something when I am tired and not 'googling' the item first. The thing is, if they had dealt fairly, I probably would still have bought the knives, just not as many. Difference is, I might have recommended them instead of going online and complaining.

Folks, it's all really quite simple. If it's advertised on TV, it's a bad deal. They are all the same - "but wait. If you order now, we will send a second thing free. All you do is pay the extra shipping and handling which is always an outrageous cost and 99% of the time, the product is junk anyway. So very simply-don't order stuff that's in the category "As Seen on TV." Next, if you do order something and get the runaround, don't bother trying to solve things via the 800 number operated by the crooks. Just notify the bank that issued your credit card and tell them you were scammed. This works every time. The bank will go after the scammers. You will get a refund via. A credit to your credit card account. So the bottom line is don't be stupid and order stuff advertised on TV, but if you do, work it as a scam through your bank.

I WOULD HOPE IT COULD HELP GET SOME OF OUR MONEY BACK. I PAID $39.00 FOR TWO SETS OF KNIFES WHICH WERE VERY LIGHT WEIGHT AND WAS CHARGED $34,94 SHIPPING. THIS IS ROBBERY WITHOUT A GUN. THERE SHOULD BE SOMETHING THAT WE CAN DO ABOUT IT. I WILL NEVER BUY THEIR PRODUCT AGAIN AND WILL ADVISE OTHERS OF THE SAME

They make you post your credit card up front before they tell you how much they will charge you in ($16.98) S & H. Then to make it worse they offer a immediate $10 discount which auto matically enrolls you into a new meonthly membership fee charged to your credit card, THIS IS THE EXACT TYPE OF WEBSITE YOU SHOULD NEVER EVER VISIT! BEWARE...

Before ordering the YoshiBlade a word of caution! When I ordered the YoshiBlade from YoshiBlade. Com I calculated my cost to be $50.00 and upon finalizing the order I was suprised to find that the charges totaled $70.00 An unknown accounting of $20.00. When I attempted to contact the YoshiBlade customer service line by the only number provided I made 6 attempts and was left on hold for exactly 12 minutes before the system would end the call thats 72 minutes of my time wasted. I would not purchase a Yoshi Blade as seen on TV due to the fact that their customer "service" is not available in the event you need to return the Yoshi Blade for any reason as stated in their guarantee.
