Yanko Design

Cancelled my order, no refund issued, no response to emails.

I placed an order on January 20th and my card was charged at the time of purchase (as expected).

I had to cancel the order later that day and the cancellation was confirmed by Yanko on January 24th.

I followed up on January 28th because I only received the confirmation email and did not receive a refund.

I followed up again February 3rd with no response.

I have had no communication from Yanko other than the automated ecommerce emails.

UPDATE 2024-04-16: I had to contact my credit card company to have the charge reversed. Still haven't heard anything from Yanko.

Industrial design means robust in my experience and most of there stuff looks pretty good. Costly not surprising, aesthetically pleasing easy to navigate, maybe maybe slightly could be more consistent in the "jacket design and layout" but otherwise great site, i miss sites or even books like these need to reconnect with that side of me "art school grad"

OMG! Such a cool site. I could just look at this stuff all day. I am not sure where they dig this stuff up but it hands down beats what I see in my modern furniture type of catalogs. Great find Chris. Now, if i could only afford this stuff then I would be truly happy. Until then I can look at this site and dream.

Amazing blog content which shows some of the cleanest modern designs I have ever seen. Makes me want to redecorate my home though I cannot begin to afford most of the featured items. Much better than some of the modern furniture magazines I subscribe to and well written.

If you aren't yet one of those but you're interested in any aspect of industrial design, you have to see this. Now don't be put off by the term "industrial", which conjures up images of dark satanic mills. Industrial in this context means products for use, and includes automobiles, furniture, household products, technology, architecture and a range of frankly weird, fantastic and sometimes astonishing products that don't fit entirely into any category at all.

The magazine is in blog format, which means daily updates on the front page, and previous postings are neatly categorized. For a taste of the content, click on "Random Designs" and see what you get, or just start at the front and work backwards in time. Either way it's quite a ride, as the designs here come from all over the globe, and represent almost every aspect of everyday life as the designers would like it to be.

Just be careful you don't touch your monitor, this site is cool enough to give you frostbite.
