Xing is a SCAM and a FRAUD! Never have anything to do with them otherwise you'll regret it. Their premium option was designed to defraud innocent people.

Bad customer service. Please, be careful with Premium options, as they charged you a lot, and you need to unsubscribe before 3 weeks in advance while other transparent platforms allow you to unsubscribe one day before, and everything is fine. Be careful please!

Some time ago I got auto-renewal of premium Xing services. To make it clear I am not using these services and I can't even remember the moment when I enrolled for them. In any case, I did not receive any notification about upcoming renewal (otherwise I would just cancel it).

When I contacted support I was told that my cancellation was not in time (minimum of 3 weeks before renewal), read more here (link at xing terms#a-7)

In short, I am "forced" to pay for services that I don't need and see no value from. Support responded after 10+ days on my 2nd inquiry, which is also bad.

Note: This review is based on recent experience with Xing and also on the fact that now I am paying for something that I have 1/5 star value.

If I recognized any value in my premium account and if this wasn't "forces" my review would be much better.

Still, taken into account that service already has 1.2/5 star rating, which is very low, seems like I am not the only person having this same experience.

The service is very poor for the high price. I would avoid any kind of contract with them, the cancelation process is difficult and confusing. It is very easy to oversee a hack and stay paying for a useless service

Xing is scam, avoid their services especially premium, you will not be able to cancel it! You will never receive any warning about renewal.

Worse customer service as they make it almost impossible to delete your account. Their automated system is basically their wall to make it impossible to deal with them in a professional ethical manner.

The social networking possibilities and the learning with Xing is limited when compared to their competitors.
Recently I learnt their customer service is poor compared to their competitors.
As a consumer, I would stay away from them.

Prefer the competitor

Big big scam
Like many people before I also got tricked by their scam that you have to re-confirm the cancellation of your trial subscription. Awful company that - hopefully - will go bankrupt ASAP. Stay well clear of Xing!

I signed up for a premium Xing account 3 months ago to assist me with making connections. As I did not find it very helpful, I was not planning on renewing my membership. Little did I know Xing does not have the courtesy to send their customers a subscription reminder, and I was billed for a new 3 month term, and a higher rate. Thinking that it was a mistake, I wrote to their customer service, only to receive a replay stating that no where in their terms and condition do they state they will send customers reminders. I was pretty shocked at the tone of the email and am so used to most of my subscriptions sending out reminders for renewal. To make matter worse, I could not log into my account for the past month. I emailed Xing twice (I mentioned it to them when I contested my card being charged again). When they did not respond to my request to help me log back into my account, I had to write to their FaceBook customer care, who went to go follow up. I finally recieved a (very rude) email today, explaining what I should do. In the email they said "it is not our fault you forgot your password." This is false as I did not forget my password. It was saved as an automatic login. That is not why I could not get into my account. Further more they claimed they had send me an email before to assist me. I never received an email from them pertaining to this before today.

This is the worse customer service I have ever experienced. I can't believe a company is allowed to profit from people who are too busy to remember to cancel a subscription 3 weeks before their initial subscription is up. This should not be legal, not without a reminder at least.

Worst customer service I had ever seen. They trap with nice entry prices. This site is good only if you know German and looking for jobs in Germany. I saw very less English speaking jobs. I got more interview calls and received a couple of offers with LinkedIn premium.

Xing Premuim subscription is OK to get few features of what you get in LinkedIn for free like profile visitors. Projobs subscription is a beautiful package with tempting marketing content to fool their customers. They just present in good numbers via email of what you get in premium. Resume guidance is their marketing trick to make their users pay more for the resume services. Notify top recruiter is useless. No top recruiter has contacted me in 3 months of ProJobs. I asked a query related to BlueCard to the so-called assistance feature in projobs, but they asked me to get details from Landratsamt.

I mistook that I had canceled that subscription but I got a renewal invoice and I immediately told them to cancel and no more interested but they never cared. All they want is money irrespective of whether it's giving any value to users. Customer satisfaction doesn't matter to them at all. Finally, I ended paying for which I am not interested and not using. For xing people - ref: XING-*******

This firm is horrible at customer satisfaction. They charged me with 100 euros for their premium services which i never wanted to continue. They have all sorts of $#*! hidden in their terms and conditions so make sure you read it before you end up paying them. They have enable auto-renewal service which will never ask for your consent nor it will prompt reminders before it is going to auto charge your bank/credit account. It is completely disgusted piece of junk and pales in comparison of other services like LinkedIn and many others who are far better when it comes to customer satisfaction and loyalty.

The only place where they talk about this autorenewal service is their $#*!ty 20 pages long terms and conditions which they expect that every user is supposed to read and memorize it to know which law stands for what. God knows what more bull$#*! they have hidden under their terms and conditions. Please be very careful while using their $#*! premium or other such paid services.

Beware of this site. They make it nearly impossible to cancel a premium account and come after you aggressivel on billing. Linkedin is a far more reputable service.
