This is the best comparison site I've used for finding a new cell phone plan. Makes the process really easy and shows you a bunch of carriers and plans you would not have known about otherwise. Highly recommend it.

Wirefly changed ownership in 2014 which many of these reviews here do not realize. The new owners converted the site to a comparison site for cell phone plans, Internet, TV service, insurance, and more. Since Wirefly doesn't sell any products any more, and works just as a comparison service, there really isn't anything bad that can be said about them. Their comparison tools work great.

Wirefly is one of the best places to compare cell phone plans. If you go and check out their plan comparison engine, you'll see it's very comprehensive and informative and lets you make an informed buying decision. They also have good tools for comparing internet service, TV plans, and more. I had a good experience using Wirefly.

Wirefly is a horrible company! They truly have the worst customer service ever! First of all if you do purchase a phone from this company you better hope that you are properly charged for it. The second phone I bought from them they somehow managed to debit my account $1000. This was a few years back. They eventually credited the "mistake." I eventually chose to give the company another shot. Big mistake! I tend to do my Christmas shopping early. I purchased a phone on November 29th. It eventually delivered on December 9th. I never opened the box. I knew the contents. It was a Christmas gift. As the next few weeks went on I changed my mind and decided to put my daughter on my plan instead of going with prepaid any longer. This past weekend we took care of our last Christmas tote and figured we'd start returning items that did not fit, did not need, etc., now that the lines at all the stores have shortened. Well, I made the call to Ebates wireless in which Wirefly is apparently a partner, and I was told I only had 14 days from the order date, to return it. 4 days? Are you kidding me? It was a Christmas gift. I talked to 4 different people. They say upper management is declining my request. Its $87! I can not believe a large company like this would refuse to return an unopened phone, refund the $87, and keep their customer happy? Wirefly will NEVER get another penny of my money! In fact, if I can help it, Wirefly will never get a single penny from anybody I know! And hopefully, anybody that reads this post will decline all thoughts of purchasing from Wirefly.

We used Wirefly originally to find a new family cell phone plan and it ended up saving us a good deal of money. So when we moved houses last month we used Wirefly's moving comparison section, as well as their TV/Internet comparison tools and really really saved a lot on our move and new home setup. Highly recommend Wirefly.

Having much difficulty trying to get a person to fulfill my order. Wirefly cancelled my order but my credit card has still been charged. I would like to get the phone I ordered and have paid for. I have not been able to talk to anyone but have written a few emails that I am waiting for responses. Very frustrating. So far would not recommend.

I have bought 2 phones from Wirefly now and have good luck with both purchases. I got great prices, did the entire thing online and never had to go to a mall...!

There is no customer service. When you finally reach someone, they have no information, in my case I was told that I would be issued a credit Immediately, three weeks later, I found out that was not so. I would not recommend this site to anyone. My experience was inordinately long and filled with lies and deceit. Sorry.

This is a good website to setup, upgrade or renew your cell contract and get a good price on phones. I have used them in 2 seperate occasions and had great success in both. I recommend you try it out if you are in the market for a cell phone.

The only positive thing I can say about my experience with wirefly, is the prices were cheap; but you get what you pay for... I ordered two phones and then waited... and waited... In trying to contact customer service they give a million options, which after going through a maze of questions takes you back to the main automated response. Long story short prepare to be on the phone for hours. Once I did get a live person, I could barely hear him nor could I understand him; oh and he couldn't understand me either 1/2 the time.
Their offer included setting up your service with your chosen cell phone Co for you.(for new customers). The credit check is done on firefly, supposedly via the cell phone Co. You chose. It then determines the amt owed for a deposit, which is based on your credit. Mine was 50.00 for two phones which was good for my not having good credit... until I got my initial bill and paperwork from the cellphone Co! They wanted 250.00 per phone and had no record of what fireflys site quoted and then collected "on the companies" behalf. After hours upon hours, which turned into weeks dealing with the phone Co. And wirefly about this; the issue was resolved because the cell phone Co. After doing an over the phone extensive history with me, decided to honor the 50 dep fee; and then whatever transpired was between the phone Co. And wirefly.

Web site add for phone chosen is extreamly misleading and may be outright fraud.

I was lied to, misinformed and I consider this company very deceitful!

I was told I would receive two (2) new LG phones, Family plan, Nation wide coverage. "Lie"
Due to my contract extension of (24) months, (2) $9.99 data plan upgrades would allow me (2)phones (Free of charge, shipping included). "Lie"
I inquired about the length of time my current contract had been in force and phone eledgeability.
I was told that my current contract and present phones had no effect on this (2) phone upgrade and contract extension. 'LIE"
I told the sales person. If I could not recieve both new phones with this offer, I did not want anything! He said ok.
I was told they would submit paper work to my carrier for approval, based on my credit and contract history. "Lie"
My contract history with cell phone carrier is excellent.
I am fortunate to have excellent credit.
Carrier tells me contract, credit history has no bearing.

I received e-mail stating I would only receive (1) phone not (2), due to one (1) present phone not being elegiable.
I attempted to cancel order through numierous "chats" with customer( "service" in name only), no results.
I was told the order could not be canceled! Also was told. I had to accept order.
Cheep Prices, lousy customer service, "Lie, Lie' Lie".

STAY AWAY, BEWARE!

Wirefly is providing the cell phones at cheap rates. But the customer care service is very poor. When I tried to talk with them about some issues related to credit card I could not find any response from them and sent a few mails and waiting for the response. Hope they will contact me soon.
