Try to book a flight in June which was prepaid and cancelled 4 times until we request for refunding. Since then Juli till October no refund, we called and wrote and were promised that it takes 3 weeks. We waited another 3 week, called again and again promises of 3 weeks again no refund and no reply on our mails. We called again in October but no refund they are just no straight forward. Run when you see WakaNow

This is the worst travel agency i have come across, please everyone should avoid wakanow.com as much as possible, infact RUN FAR AWAY FROM WAKANOW. The people working there are so unprofessional and lack what it takes to be customer friendly. When you need help you get zero help or advice from them. They even cut the phone off during conversation with them. It's been very frustrating and annoying dealing with wakanow. Please avoid wakanow at all cost.

Please if you care about peace of mind, do not use Wakanow. These guys ruined my honeymoon today. I had to stay outside the hotel Cubana hotel for four hours. They lie, they refuse to pick your calls and they have the worse customer support staff ever. I beg you book your flight yourself, and when you get to wherever you want to go look for a hotel

These guy have to have to the worst ticketing agents in the industry. It took an agent 2hrs to respond to a message on telegram. By the time we had communicated 3 messages each on bith side it was alreas 16hrs.(This is not a joke.)I later switched to their whatapp, i encounter tye exact same problem. I called couple of their lines *******727 *******705 No went thru. My advice, if you cant have a good communications team close up these communication channels and stick with in person only.

I dealt with the most unfriendly ticketing agent I have ever come acrossat the Abuja office today, kept me waiting for over an hour, saying he needed to confirm from Lagos, Lagos end told him, he was resting and he voiced it out in my presence, totally unprofessional

I booked a flight through wakanow. There was some mistake on the name I ask them to adjust they said I most cancel the flight that my money will be deducted for cancellations policy. I don't want to cancel the flight just adjust the name. I was ask by there agent to call the airline which I did they line said only the agent can cancel it yet they refuse keep telling me to cancel the flight do they can deduct money for light that still has 10 days to go. Thiefs

Let everyone keep distance from this company called Wakanow, they are not honest, they don't fulfil their promises, they are scammers.
I have all the reasons and proof of saying that. Google should take action on this company, they are criminals.
I bought ticket from their app, with the sum of N253,175, on the 6th of July 2022, from Manama Bahrain to Abuja Nigeria,
They gave me Twanda connecting flight with fly dubai, I was at the airport 4 hours before ny take off time, on reaching to the airport, they told me that my flight has been cancelled, I started writing emails and WhatsApp to this company, they reply to my once in 6 hours, and their response has neen, we are sorry for the inconvenience.
I told them my condition, my visa has expired in the country, I loose my house, I have been at the airport for 3 days.
They promised to reissue another ticket to me on 13th July 2022, and I am writing this on 13th, I have done everything thing possible, to make them feel my pain, they don't care.

All reviews here summarize my experience. I Can't say more. This kind of business can only keep existing in a lawless company like Nigeria. In a sane country, they would have been sued to Armageddon. Touts is a better definition of this company.

Bought a two return Qatar Airways tickets for Lagos to Houston at Wakanow office at Genesis Cinemas complex, G. R. A. Port Harcourt, Rivers State. No conditions were given while I paid over 1.1million. Trying to get a date change Qatar Airways keeps referring me to Wakanow and Wakanow are demanding almost the cost of the return ticket for 1 person for a date change when on line directly with Qatar Airways does not portray that cost. Wakanow still refuses to process a refund saying their tickets are non refundable when there is no prior information on this prior to purchase of the ticket.

They are very unprofessional, unapologetic, no one ever apologised, once they are familiar with your number they don't pick again, the are not detailed, no certain percentage for refund, refund takes 8-10 weeks... the watsapp platform is the worst customer service platform... I thought it was a robot. Until I asked and was told it was a human being.

There thiefs how can u collect money and not credit d airline, that's pure 419, I booked a flight der collected money and did not credited me, telling me 15 working days calling and no one is picking obviously der knew my number, dats fraudulent act

Booked a return trip to SA with this d^mb f^cks, I'm now certain the agent that handled the booking, probably Wakanow as a whole is a scam company. My return date which I was extremely specific about was changed to a completely different date, on noticing that, I reported to a very unwilling customer care, I eventually after several complaints had to pay extra 200k plus to change a f^cking date of the return flight, an error that was clearly the company's. Guess what, the d^mb $#*! changed the date to the original specified date but changed my return location from Abuja to Lagos, found out 2 days to my return flight. I immediately requested for a change of location, after an extremely nonchalant attitude towards my request, I was told to pay another 300k for that, booking a one way cost just a little above this. On getting to the airport, after paying for change of destination, the flight wasn't booked. Spent two extra days at a country that I had exhausted my expected visa stays because of this $#*!ing b^stards!

This is it, they want to get as much money from you as possible by putting you in an uncomfortable situation with your trips! This happen to their clients all the time!
Just save yourself the stress because if you use Wakanow, I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT! I PROMISE YOU! You will spend more than your budget! You might get to the airport and realized you only received confirmation and your flight wasn't really booked! F^cking scam!

My friend made a booking and it was confirmed. Waka now sent him list of banks he can pay and he made payment to one of the banks. That was around 9pm. Till the following day they didn't send him ticket and he called their customer care line. The agent told him they sent him his ticket (meanwhile he earlier did a booking which the ticket was sent in the morning). My friend told them the sent the ticket he booked and paid for in the morning buh the other one was done in the evening... Waka now claimed no. After back and forth Waka now agreed they saw booking buh didn't see payment... Until after the 3rd day my friend had to send his bank statement and all payments proofs. Waka now still insist he hasn't paid until the 4th day my friend went to their office. Waka now then agreed yes he has paid, they received payment. Buh his ticket has been canceled he has to add extra money for new rate. The staffs were so rude and were talking anyhow to my friend... He had to add extra money and the date of traveling changed... Waka now has thiefs among their staff and when you lodge complaints they talk rude at to u... You make payments they deny they have see the payment until u loose the booking and need to add extra pay... I advice anyone not to trust their service. If u must patronize them, better go to their office face to face. It's den they will take u seriously

This company is highly incompetent. They cancelled my ticket less than 2 hrs to the departure of my flight. It got my family stranded and I had to get a new ticket directly from the airline. I have requested a refund of the earlier ticket they cancelled, but they have refused to respond to emails nor take calls. When an agent takes a call, they tell you they will act on it, then hang up rudely. Still struggling to get the refund after 3 weeks. Terrible. Will never use them again.

This company will take your money create a false booking and you get to the airport and there is no booking.
This has happened twice and I had to buy a ticket from the counter the first time. Right now I don't even know my fate for this recent booking

The most ridiculous thing ive ever seen and heard in my life. Lagos to Cotonou, which by the way is about 3 hours east of my location, is about 500,000 Naira! A trip to kenya only cost 180,000Naira but the neighbouring country which is a 3 hour drive goes up to 1.5 Million naira and the best part is... Its a 25 HOUR FLIGHT!... To Cotonou, Benin! I mean... I paid about 300,000Naira to get to CANADA!

My advise to those who want to make a booking. Check your flight itinenary to be sure that its not a low cost airline and you don't end up spending more money purchasing another ticket. Very incompetent and they even ignored my emails. I am going file a report when i return for sure.

I have used Wakanow twice now and it has not been a good experience. I am a frequent traveller on Abuja - Toronto route. I always book my flight online either through the airline direct or other travel agencies from Canada. The first time I used Wakanow was for my son returning from Canada. That went ok probably because no rebooking was involved. Last August, I booked for myself Air France also a return from Canada, I used the first leg of the ticket, but decided to change my booking for the second leg which was to be in April. Till now Wakanow has failed to rebook get me a new booking and my ticket will soon expired. We have exchanged over 50 emails without success with the constant promise that they are waiting for Airlines response on email. The flight is a popular Air france (Abuja - Toronto) route, I am now totally convinced that Wakanow is either incapable of running such a business or they are a fraud.

Travellers be ware of them. Note that my ticket has option for date change with additional payment. There is no excuse for this company.

I wish I read these reviews about them. How can wakanow leave a flight opened without the customer's knowledge? And she's about to check in the night to the flight date and it ain't pulling through. The workers there are nothing to write about. This review is a zero

I tried booking a flight ticket on the 23rd of July on their website to avoid late minute rush. They debited my mastercard even when an error popped up on their site. I had to go to the airport personally to the flight company I was flying with. I meet one of their staffs in MM2 ( Lagos Nigeria) who told me their site has a problem that week and all bookings tried on the website will not go through and it debits cards used. I was relaxed thinking I will get a refund.

Today is August 29th and I am yet to receive a refund after several mails to them.
My advice, don't use their online portal even if you have to use them. They are bunch of unprofessionals.
