I used viagogo to purchase tickets without reading any reviews. I then read the reviews here and became very anxious. The e tickets came through but were in Row S instead of Row R as I had ordered. I wasn't worried about being one row behind but the discrepancy worried me in case it was a sign of the tickets being dodgy. I used Live Chat a few times and they were really friendly and reassuring. I was still nervous when I got to the venue but only because of all the negative reviews I had read. As it happened, we sailed through the gates and happily took our seats in Row S.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Total scam! Paid a significant amount extra for better seats and got sent the cheapest tickets in the concert where we could hardly see the band. Customer service basically told us it's too bad the sellers can set their own price even though what they advertised absolutely not what they advertised.

I bought a ticket from this website and it was fraudulent. They don't return my calls or reply to my messages. Stay away
This is a totally fraudulent site. They resell the same tickets multiple times, so when you get to the venue, your seats are already taken. Don't buy from here!

This is a borderline "day light robbery" site. Here you will find all possible (and latest) digital tricks to deprive you from your money. From reselling price going to 200%-400% of original price, to various dubious fees that only optimizing revenue of this pirate site. Customer service is only "smoke screening" these "digital gangsters", targeting older (but also naive younger) customers. Disgusting business model - and shame this is allowed

Bought tickets for a Michael Ball concert in Brighton 3 months in advance - had to pay 3 times the official ticket price. Viagogo stated that e-tickets would be sent 3 days before the event. On the day of the concert - no tickets. Customer service advised that they would be issued. Left home to travel to the concert - still no tickets. Waiting in the queue to enter the concert, an e-mail from Viagogo to say unfortunately the tickets were not available, but "don't worry - we could go to an alternative concert using the Viagogo guarantee". As we left the queue, another e-mail containing the tickets - 50min before the concert start. This Company is not fit for purpose and I will NEVER use them again. Be warned - total grief awaits you and scammed up prices.
Please do not buy tickets from Viagogo!
I bought Taylor Swift's Era's Tour in Singapore (9 March) tickets for 4 pax back in July 2023. We have waited since 1-2 weeks before the concert date and tickets were not released yet. We got only to receive email few days prior to the concert date that the 'seller is not able to provide the tickets that you originally purchased' and recommended us to replace our seats to alternative ones they recommended which located near to backstage, while our initial order was actually at row 642 where you still can see the whole stage.
I tried calling them but the number is NOT active, then contact them via live chat. The person on live chat told us the same. Since we still wanted to watch the concert, we decided to choose alternative seat though we had to sacrifice the stage view. And GUESS WHAT? TICKETS CAN BE DOWNLOADED STRAIGHTAWAY.
I don't know how viagogo got and sell our tickets, but offering us to replace to their recommended alternative seat when we have already purchased the seat with a view we wanted is a total scam. How can you have the audacity to claim that the 'seller' wasnt able to provide the tickets as per customer request, knowing that we have spent so much on the tickets? We could have received the tickets with the seat we wanted by now. I will never use nor recommend Viagogo anymore.
After purchasing tickets to Eras tour in Poland, I started reading the reviews. I contacted customer service and used the chat feature. Silvio typed "but keep in mind that in a possible case, all our entries are delivered on time and in the same way". If something happened, "I would be offered 2 options tickets at the same price or a refund". I then asked about if tickets were not available and there was no response from Silvio. These tickets are a graduation gift for our daughter. I will be cancelling my order and would like to have some transparency in the orders and their fulfillment. I am beyond concerned that our concert might get ruined for an artist that she loves and we would be in another country. I will be paying more attention to reviews in the future instead of seeing the price (which is higher than the ticket price but not outrageous). I just want some reassurances that our tickets will be delivered versus now reading some of the reviews and panicking. My fault for not reading before and if other people have had good experiences with this company then I am glad that you have had them.
Do not buy ticket from Viagogo! These guys are scam artist! Shame on you!
It is illegal to facilitate and assist scamming other people! Shame on you!
My wife bought 2024 australian open finals tickets from Viagog without checking with me and paid $6,900 A$ for 2 tickets Women final and 2700 Euros for 2 men final!
We flew to Melbourne this week and find out you can buy tickets for 500 to 700 A$ each for the same event!
Yesterday at women's final ran into another couple came Florida with exact same experience! They sat next to us and paid thousands for their tickets.
Earlier this week we wanted to sell her tickets to recover some of losses! After we filled out the sell section in Viagogo, it asked us to put our asking price so we put 6000 A$ for tickets that we paid 6,900 AD! You know what Viagogo said, our asking price is too high! We should be asking for 400 to 1500 A$! If they knew this why scammed us in the first place!
Shame on you Viagogo!
I bought three tickets for this Concert, that it will be on next Monday in Boston, Massachussets; I have a Confirmation Pursache Number *******; the price $1,280.95 US Dóllars; until now, I don't have any tickets; what can I do?.
I bought 3 tickets for maroon 5 in Bahrain as the first concert for to bring my son in the rush of the moment thinking that was an official site of the concert in the same day when they open the tickets. Turns out that I not only pay way more for tickets, they show up a map of the stadium as if I was choosing the at the original site. The concert was postponed and I couldn't get my money back, and discovered after long time that it was not the original site and that I was buying from a third part. The oficial site is very specific saying that it is not transferable, and they do not accept tickets from viagogo. And I have to show my id and credit card upon arrival The only solution viagogo give me is to re sell the tickets which is illegal according to the official site. On top of that it was a leaking in the password in viagogo and after that my credit card was cloned. Not sure but possibly because of the leaking.
They won't give me a refund, allowed someone to break the law selling those tickets and wants me to do the same. I just want a refund since I'm not gonna show up in the maroon 5 concert with my son and put him in an embarrassing situation. IF! I can get the tickets that I didn't received yet. 11 days for the concert.
They charge large fees that aren't shown transparently, tixket price was 110€, at the end it's somehow 165

I ordered tickets on the 4th of December for a show that was on February 10th. Their website said that they tickets were being sent by FedEx. The day before the show I had still not received the tickets. I contacted them and they said that they would check with the supplier and call me back. They never did. I contacted them again and they told me that they would send the tickets to my hotel. I was happy with that. But then at 22:00 the night before I received an email saying that the seats I had purchased were no longer available and that I had to choose new seats. I did, and they sent me a small refund. They told me that the tickets would be sent by email from Ticketmaster. But the next morning I still did not have an email from anybody so I contacted them again and was told that TicketMaster had up until 15:00 that day to fill the order. So I left for the show and was on the bus and they called me and said that the new seats were no longer available and they were finding new seats for me and they would be the best seats available. I was desperate and said ok. They finally sent me the the tickets by email and I ended up sitting behind all the scaffolding for the show. Here's the thing. Seats don't suddenly become unavailable. I bought the seats back in December and I should have received tickets for them. And since when aren't ticket sent by email? I believe that What Viagogo does buy cheap seats from TicketMaster, take your money for good seats, and they give you cheap seats at the very last minute, and keep the money. I will never use them again. I would recommend going directly to TicketMast or another reputable firm.
BE CAREFUL
Do not ever buy tickets from there, its better not to go the concert,
If you bought then for sure you will not go to the concert!
We didn't receive the tickets and until the last day they were saying that the will replace them or refund us
And guess what?
They didn't refund us and dont answer to our emails, but we will find our way to take back our money, 170 the ticket from viagogo 66 from the teatro
BE CAREFUL
I recently bought tickets to see Andrea Boccelli on Ticketmaster. It turns out that were resale tickets from Viagogo. The concert was scheduled for December 6 but was cancelled after waiting 3 hours for him to come out. We were told he was ill and couldnt perform. I am from Canada. My husband and I came all the way from Canada to see him and spent over 3000. To stay in a hotel, gas, parking, Ubers etc. I can not come back now that they have decided to reschedule the event for December 20. This company is saying too bad resell your tickets at a loss but there is no guarantee the tickets will sell. That is disgusting. Beware when yo call in they wont even let you speak to a supervisor. What a disappointment. My husband and I are out almost 4000 with the tickets.
Avoid. The worst company I've ever dealt with. Selling tickets which we know are priced up which is fair enough, take a £50 fee for matching a buyer and seller which shows right after you've selected a ticket but then don't actually guarantee the ticket in their small print. Bought a ticket for a gig, chased them as hadn't received the ticket to my phone. Kept saying all day it will be there, spent hours on the phone to them. Then 2 hours before the gig just said can't fulfil your order BY EMAIL. So a trip to London wasted. Shocking customer service. They were then selling the same tickets through their site but wouldn't match me to one as the sellers were now selling for higher prices. Never review usually but just don't use them. Realised how bad the reviews are elsewhere and numerous newspaper articles about how shocking the business model is.
1. Viagogo will never pay you after you sold your tickets and you can never get back your money.
2. Based on the attached photo, you can see there's bundle of rubbish replying you with scripts.
3. Viagogo will keep saying they already paid you but they will never show you the proof of payment.
4. Even after I provide my bank statement to them and their customer service agreed that I do not receive payment, they will still not taking any action. This is SCAM!
Tip for consumers:
PLEASE DO NOT TRUST VIAGOGO! THEY ARE SCAMMER! PLEASE REPORT THEM TO PREVENT MORE VICTIM!

The tickets I bought on this site were not accepted. They were not allowed to sell tickets for this event.

They do not display the original ticket price nor do they provide an avenue to request a refund which contravenes the Consumer Rights Act and their Customer Service does not exist. The telephone line is an answering machine which enters you into a loop, you make a selection which is then not understood and you are returned to the main menu. This company are SCAMMERS. DO NOT USE.
I bought tickets to see Ariana Grande in Hamburg on October 9th 2019 on Viagogo the last days of August. After I bought them i saw the awful reviews and was full of anxiety up until the scanned my ticket, (after 6-7 hours in cue to go in). My tickets worked fine and got to see her in third row. Initially, I was worried because they said my tickets would be delivered to me a couple weeks before the concert and I had to fly to where the concert would be held and even read some reviews about how people never even got their tickets. Thankfully, my ticket arrived the date it was planned via UPS in perfect conditions.
Now, the costumer service they gave me made me feel so much better, i contacted them through Twitter DMS a couple times and even though at the beginning they were a bit slow, they replied and even called me on the phone to solve any doubts I had and reassure me that if they didn't work, they would try to get me other tickets or give me my money back. I contacted them 2 or 3 time via twitter and on their web page after I saw the date on my ticket was different than the concert date. They explained that the concert had been rescheduled and that my tickets would work.
Even so, I wouldn't buy tickets on Viagogo just because the anxiety of my tickets made it worse than usual, especially after i had to spend money on my plane ticket. But if you already did, just check your tickets and read some articles on how to notice if they're fake. It really all depends on the person and not the website. Also have in mind that some people who buy on Viagogo and everything works out for them, probably won't write a review. So most of the reviews might be bad because that's the initial reaction.
I hope everything works out for you whoever reading this! Don't stress too much.
Tip for consumers:
Just hope for the best! It all depends on my seller and i read once that only around 1-2% people get scammed when buying tickets of re-sellers :) BEST OF LUCK!
NEVER, EVER use this site. Find another trusted marketplace - even if you have to pay a bit more.
I work in the user experience field funnily enough, and I have never had such a bad experience in my life.
I got told to give my details and create accounts on multiple different third party websites to receive my tickets, and still didn't receive them.
7 customer support agents and literally 5 hours later, I finally got them.
One agent told me to go to a site and login; I told him there was nowhere to login on the site URL he provided. He proceeded to question me and tell me that I was wrong. I asked him to put me through to his manager - as he wasn't listening to me/couldn't understand me - and he said I needed a reason to be put through to his manager. I basically got into an argument with him: I was repeating my reason, and he kept saying I needed a reason... He then said he couldn't put me through, and that if I wanted to speak to a manager, I'd have to hang up and call back. The most bizarre experience I've had.
Absolute disgrace of a company. I wish I'd seen their 1 star reviews before buying the tickets. Please don't bother.
Customer Service is not in their vocabulary. My concert was canceled due to COVID, and rescheduled to September. Viagogo was notified, but they never sent me notification. I called venue to get more information. They said they would send me tickets for new date, but the person whose name is on ticket will have to approve. LOL.
They sell you tickets that don't exist and their customer service completely sucks. Company is a SCAM
