Really surprised about the reviews of this website! I started using it in August as it had great prices on Maxwell & Williams china, better than anywhere else I could find. Then I've been checking their special offers regularly to see what's available. I've had no problems and nothing but great service, deliveries on time and good prices. Personally I'd recommend this site highly. All the bad reviews seem to be pre-August so maybe somethings changed in the last few months. Been back on the site this morning and ordered a new ironing board:-)

Ordered on Tuesday at 9am didn't get it till the Friday! Now they don't want to refund me the £4.99 for not delivering within the 48hrs as promised on there site! Had to chase them, then ring UPS my self to get the parcel delivered and a time of delivery because they said the couldn't Doubt I will be shopping here again or recommending to anyone else very poor site and service I have had better ebay sellers

We placed our order well over a week ago and haven't received any correspondence from the company - other than the fact that they've taken full payment for the order.

We are incredibly frustrated as we have been unable to get a response by email or by phone - absolutely no customer service whatsoever - appalling.

We wish we'd looked into them before placing our order - they give online shopping a bad name.

Extremely bad customer service. Items were showing as in stock when ordered, they immediately took payment out of my account but then informed me that there were delays. They kept stringing me along, saying that they were expecting delivery in the next few days, etc but then nothing turned up. I eventually tried to cancel the order, but they chose to ignore that email and kept making excuses. The goods eventually turned up after nearly 2 months. Over this whole period, I never saw any of my ordered items showing as "out of stock" on their website.

My experience seems to have been the same as everyone else - over £120 worth of goods ordered, extremely poor customer service and they didn't seem to care that they broke our contractual agreement. After threatening them with legal proceedings I have only seen half my order. This company should be closed down and not allowed to trade ever again. If anyone has a Telephone number for them, please post it. Mind you they have probably removed their phones as they couldn't cope with the amount of complaints.

I ordered some bathroom accessories in November, £52 taken out of my account immediately, delivery within 14 days. Still not received anything. Try to call but you are on hold for ever, they don't answer and only take calls for new orders. Emailed numerous times to no avail and have asked them to cancel order and refund money, but once again no answer and no money! I personally wish I had checked out the website before ordering and in future will be very careful I only order things from known sites on the internet.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!

Do not use VeryNice2.com. I had exactly the same experience as the other reviewer - they took my money immediately but over a month later, still no goods!

They never answer the phone or respond to website complaints.

I wish I had looked into them before using them, the prices look good but it seems they rarely have items in stock and you can be left waiting for weeks if not months for your goods.

Google them and check out other reviews of them - a very high proportion of unsatisfied, angry customers!

Really bad customer service. Placed the order before christmas, it did say on the website that could not guarentee delivery before christmas, that was fine. But its now 2 months down the line and when i do eventually get to speak to people i keep getting told, it will be here next week... next week arrives and surprise, surprise... not here yet!
I don't mind waiting for things, but they are not giving me any idea of when the stock is going to arrive.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! BIT DODGY IF YOU ASK ME!

Dont buy from this company! I, v waited and asked for a refund for over two months. They no longer even have a phone number on which to contacted them. Email after email as been sent. With no reply. I think its very unlikely that i will recieve either money or goods. Thanks to this shower i, m down £124, wish i had read the reveiws before hand, i, m new to buying online and this company has seriously put me off buying online again. Also brought with debit card, so no cover there from the bank. Please DONT invest in this company, in future i will always use a site like this before hand.

Absolutely shocking customer service. I placed my order in May and have been given a shed load of excuses as to why my order has not been delivered. I am now battling for a refund. To add, the telephone number on their invoice is unobtainable.

Agree with all above reviews. This is the worst online shopping experience i have ever had. I ordered items in august last year as birthday presents and still have not received them (8 months later). I have emailed numerous times and not recieved any reply. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!

Avoid this website at all costs. Extremely poor customer service. Ordered a product on the 1st April 2010 - it is now 15 May 2010 and still have not received the product. The website indictated that the product was in stock, but on placing the order I received an email indicating that the product was out-of-stock and an order had been placed with the supplier. Contacted their customer service team 4 teams via email. Despite requesting a refund on all occasions they have not done so. On the final email, I indicated that they were in breach of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and had not replied. I have just checked the website and my order has now disappeared, but I have still not received payment. Will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the transaction

I have had exactly the same issues. Beware that verynice2 also trade as "white-porcelain.com"! I ordered from white-porcelain originally. They took my money immediately, 14 days later i still had no notification of dispatch. I emailed them and got no response. Exactly 1 month and 1 day later I received a full refund but no explanation. As the product I ordered is now discontinued I found one other site that also appeared to stock and sell it so I placed the same order (at a higher price). This was of course with verynice2. When I revisited the site to check the orders progress I recognised the similarities between the two sites. In fact they were so similar the only difference was the trading name. I immediately emailed them noting my observations and stated if this was the case that they were to cancel my order and refund me immediately. Surprise surprise 3 weeks later and I'm still waiting! Save yourself a lot of hassle and disappointment and do not use either of these sites!

This website is crap! I bought an item off it for a bday present over a week before the day, on the day of the birthday i recieved an email saying the product was out of stock and will be another 7-14 days. This is fine, I understand the risks of online shopping and as long as I am kept up to date I don't mind muttering apologies to friends and waiting. Anyway, the 14 days have now passed, no sign of product or reason for its lateness. I have emailed the company twice in the past week stating that this is not good enough etc etc and I have still not had a reply. I would say this is the worst service I have every recieved from an internet site.

07/04/10 - So, I asked for my money back giving clear deadlines and nothing appeared within the time I stated. Fortunately I buy everything online with a visa debit card which has saved my bacon more than once before. Today i recieved a full refund for my transaction from visa... still no sign whatsoever of a reply from verynice2. $#*!ty, $#*!ty service and definately something a bit fishy about the company too!

A shocking online experience. Please do not order from this company! I made £100 worth of order and evey Thursday I get a email saying they will be expecting a delivery from brabantia next Thursday. This has been the case for a month now. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
