I placed an order with this website and other than receiving a confirmation to say the order would be processed and despatched within a few days, I have heard nothing more despite having sent an email and being advised that I would receive a reply within 48 hours. After reading some of the reviews, I have now cancelled my order and will not be ordering from this organisation again. Like others, I feel cheated and conned by false advertising.
this website is full of lies. when i recieved my dvd's they were all burnt. we bought have gun will travel, and all of gunsmoke. the quality is bad bad bad, and everything was writen on the package in a forien language. no phone number no nothing. they did email me and said the same thing twice. they will be there in 5-7 days. i'm having my cc company start investigation on these rip off people. i thought you were not supposed to burn stuff?i'm really made because i didn't mind spending 251.58, for the sets but not this stuff there pushing. bad people!!!!
Do ***NOT**** buy anything from this site. They copy TV shows off air onto DVD's. The "quality" is laughable. Have reported them for their blatent PIRACY. They also exist on other domains. NBC.com has a link to their sites, as does Play.co.uk - be warned!!!

Oct - Dec 2010 and counting! I ordered a 56 episode set of Remember WENN ( AMC original series, 1996). The set was incomplete, missing the last 10 episodes.Two discs were duplicates. Most were so scratched that they looked like they had been piled together like a deck of cards. Only two would play through. Most only one or two episodes were viewable. Quality is horrible! I've been playing e-mail tag with a person going by the name of Kimberly Weis. Supposed to be customer support but in reality it's just damage control for the "company." They refuse to send me what I paid for, namely a viewable COMPLETE set. Their refund offer is a joke! They even tried to blame the problem on my equipment. These things won't play anywhere. Avoid these clowns at all costs! They are criminals and should be dealt with as such!
this is a ripoff scam...they will send you nothing...ive been trying to order something For Months....they just charge me and i get nothing. i had to didpute this through my C.C. Many Times...thank The Gods, And Goddesses for that! anyway finally some lady called Alicia called me upset about ehy i would dispute. i cursed her out and Told her that if i receive no product i have every right to dispute! if you call theor hotline at 650 290 6658, some obviously Oriental lady picks up claiming to be in Canada (yeah right). she couldnt even describe to me where in Canada she was. don't order from these bums!
I recently purchased the "Carol Burnett Show" . "When I saw the sale price I thought I had found the deal of the century since other websites offered it for much more. The set comes with no frills packaging and absolutely no extras. Each disc has numerous shows on it and that is it. The quality of the recordings is pretty bad and reminds me of the days of taping off a VCR player with a USED blank tape. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! Don't make the same mistake. . .Next time I will spend the money on the extra price to get a better product!

It is a rip off the DVD's are poor quality - they are copies from China - blackmarket for sure! There are no menus on the DVD's so if more than one episode on the disc you have to go through from the beginning to get to the second episode. They skip and stall at different places in the middle of the episodes. I tried to get my money back and they did not respond! I am turning them into the attorney general of my state. Don't buy from them!

A total ripoff. THe description of the product makes it sound like it is a brand new- in the original box set of DVDs, but really it is a pirated version with poor quality video and not always in sync audio.

i had ordered a item back in september and i canceled it. i kept getting nothing but a run around. tvdvd payed back my money but betaseris did not. i got in touch with the disbut center at my bank and they gave me the number to call them. so i called and the guy that i had talked to was so rude he pretty much told me to take a hike and take my meds. and he had ask me what village i had lived in. and when i had ask him for his name he refused and said he felt i was mentally instable and dangerious.. this guy should not even be allowed to work with this company.. in fact i had check with bbb awhile back and there not even listed. the guy from bestseris stated my money will be return within 7business days but my s/h will not....

I just bought Chips the box set . I can't believe they were burned from CHINA!!! And suprised there was not a return address on the box. Several disks don't even play. Don't buy anything from this website!
I am hoping there is someone who can help me file a formal complaint against tvdvdwarehouse.
When I had decided to purchase the complete collection of Cagney and Lacey on dvd as a gift for my ailing mother who I was hoping to take her mind off of being sick in the hospital, I was also under the impression the dvds were going to be in actual working order, which was obviously not the case because the dvds have continually presented problems (they stop every two minutes before they freeze). When I had complained to an associate in order to find out what would be my options, I was told by this associate that I would be forced to pay more money to get a replacement set of dvds before they would be willing to pay out a partial refund, and now the person is telling me that I would be getting a partial refund that would be reflected on my next credit card statement not to mention getting the royal runaround by this company.
I don't know what to do to get a refund from these people
I would also suggest not shopping here if you want the real deal.

I love this place. They sent me the complete series of Knots landing, which is unavailable anywhere else. The quality of their copied DVDs from television is above average and I am totally happy with the package.
I wish I would have read this BEFORE I placed my order. I just placed a DEMAND email to this site inquiring about my order. I told them I will be filing a report also. What I write depends totally on them. I ordered the Complete Black Sheep Squadron Series. I've read from others that this was a quality video but we'll see if (when) I receive it. I'll write a follow up after I receive and watch them. I believe in making a fair and accurate report so for now I'll just say "we'll see what happens".
When I had originally purchased the complete collection of Cagney and Lacey , I was under the impression the dvds would be in actual working order not to mention would be actually legal not coded dvds as I was explained to by one of the associates, which was not the case because the dvds have caused me nothing but trouble because the dvds happen to stop every two damn minutes right before the dvds freeze altogether not to mention being duplicates of previous episodes. When I had attempted to complain to one of their associates in orde to see if there was any possible way that I could either return them for a complete refund or be sent a replacement set, the associate had told me the reason as to why the dvds don't work was the result of them being coded;therefore, the dvds were in fact bootlegged.
When I had informed the associate I was more than prepared to file a formal complaint against her and her company for shipping a defective product that she knew was defective, I was promised a partial refund as well as an appology,which I have yet to see either one of them.
I bet they only promise you a payment to appease you and then just never give it to you. At least now when you google Tvdvdwarehouse the first thing you see is your reviews.
Now, the associate has also promised to get right back to me with a complete refund that is supposed to appear on my next credit card statement, which has still not taken place. Also, the associate is continually making ALL SORT OF EXCUSES for the tvdvdwarehouse as to why it is taking so damn long to get the refund that is not even true--- So far, the best excuse the associate is making is that the refund is already in the mail, which is a complete fabrication because the associate has continually told me the refund is going to made to the credit card.
JUST DIDPUTE THROUGH YOUR C.C. ..THEY SHOULD ALWAYS TAKE THE CONSUMERS SIDE

YOURE RIGHT! i was trying to get stuff from them for So Long! they are a dud website and i havent received anything yet! i had to dispute them through my Credit Card. they have some number, 650-290-6658, but some Oriental lady (claiming to be in Canada, though not able To Tell me where in Canada At All) answers but has no coherent information. what a scam
