This Carport was passed for construction by the "Redland City Council" After I complained about how this structure was passed and "WHY" to the local councillor in a one on one meeting he assured me he would take the "MATTERS" I raised with him to the "CEO" and see if he could find an answer to my predicament Well the response from the Redland City Council (RCC) was; THe RCC issued me with a form (61 Queensland Government) Stating I had to "RECTIFY" The main structural defects in the "ORIGINAL" design they approved in writing. Totalspan the Franchisee has no comment nor will it admit the thickness of the Columns for this size carport requires thicker walled columns. Follow the links.
